So I just started using GRT and like it a lot. Between the documentation that comes with it and a little before-hand knowledge of using open source type programs, I found it fairly easy to get up and going. I’m just using GRT for general knowledge I.e.: starting charges, approx max charge, general velocity.

My question is, can anybody walk me through building a cartridge in there that is reflective of the 22ARC. Like what cartridge did you start with? What all variables did you change? Is there a spot to just build a cartridge from scratch? Is there already another thread on this I missed?

Does anyone make an AICS AX (DSDF long action magazine) compatible chassis yet? I'm running 300wm and would really like to be able to use true double stack mags under a coup de grace action.

Bought a factory OR slide for my stock P10. Now it wont eject after a fired round. Does this once probably every mag sometimes multiple times per mag. It stops halfway and locks the slide and the mag from moving. I have to smack the back of the slide forward back into battery, then drop the mag, then eject the spent casing. The next round in the mag is all chewed up from locking the mag and the slide from moving. This pistol had approximately 700 rounds fired with no malfunctions before the slide swap.

In the market for themal. I’ve narrowed my choices down the the Skeet IR L and UTM.

It would be mainly used on a Rattler LT and also used on my 14.5 (Think sub 150 meter engagements).

The smaller size if the Skeet is appealing to me. However the UTM appears to have better performance with the 640 processor.

I dont have any personal experience with either, so would like to hear from those who do.

Mounted and taken to the range one time. In perfect condition. Little heavy for hunting rig. It’s a sweet scope for the money. Reticle is great and the green and red illumination is excellent. I also bought the sunshade to go with it.

Zermatt Arms Origin action made for and marked “Zia, Carverns Armory, Carlsbad NM”. Action comes with a Trigger Tech Primary trigger. Action has a 223 bolt face. Action was coated dark gray. Action came out of a rifle that was sold as new, however it is clear the bolt has at least been cycled a lot. The finish on the bottom of the bolt has worn through. There are several marks/scuffs in the finish (see pictures).

“We know our immigration system is broken and we know what it takes to fix it: comprehensive reform. That includes strong border security and an earned pathway to citizenship,” Harris said.

Such an amnesty would immediately fill the United States workforce with millions of newly legalized foreign workers against whom working and middle class Americans would have to compete.

I am looking at weather meters and have gotten sticker shock from the Kestrels and am trying to find a cheaper work around. I believe I have found one Tempest “WEATHERmeter” for precision shooting along with the geoballistics app, not an elegant solution but I will happily take the discount.

What throws me though is the nicer Kestrels with applied ballistics can do custom curves, but I assume geoballistics does not.

But I can buy the applied ballistics app for $30. So can I use that app with the weathermeter? Or can I manually type the information from the meter in to it and use the custom curves?

Okay, it's time for my next rifle build. I am wanting to go 6mm Dasher and have been researching the best barreled action. Bonus points for optimum twist rate and barrel length (was thinking 28" but idk). Looking for a 600+ yd rifle. Anyone with experience please drop your opinion below!

Background: Not worried about price. My rifle builds in the past have all been done by USMC PWS in Quantico but now that hobby hours have been torpedoed, that connection is dry [sad face]. Only other builder I have used in the past is GAP which was nice, just want to see if there is anything better. Thanks!
