Cartridges that work well super AND subsonic

Hey guys, my last thread was about best cartridge for subsonic lethality. The one before that was supersonic cartridges that pair well with short barrels. So if you have a short barrel bolt action in mind, that gave us an idea of some of the best supersonic and separately subsonic cartridge choices for hunting.

Now I ask, is there any particular cartridges that do a good job at both? They may not be the best at one or the other but have the best balance. They make one gun a 0-200 or even 300 supersonic hunter AND a 0-100 subsonic hunter.

I have no idea if this exists, that's why I'm asking. Maybe the answer has to be two guns.

Let's have your ideas and scenarios fellas. Here's to a good discussion 🤙

Watches?

I have run a 511 ballistic watch for several years. Now I know that it wasn't the most accurate but would get me on target out to 600 -800 yards or very close. Well the thing broke and they do not offer it it any more so I am looking for a replacement watch. I have done searches both here and net and I am not finding much. What can you recommend.
I was looking at getting a watch with a altimeter and then the Garmin fortrex 701 with the ballistic app. but that would be two items to carry.

?????

Gear choices/next purchases

I've been to a few matches and picked up some gear along the way. Right now, I'm using a B14R with an MPED. I've got a bipod, a schemedium, a Kestrel, a chronograph, rangefinder, and some 8x10 Crossfire binoculars.
Is there anything essential or just nice to have that I'm overlooking? Should I consider getting a tripod, a new chassis, upgraded binoculars, or maybe save up for a custom rifle setup? Or should I just stick with what I have for now.

Help with new rifle $3k budget.

I just sold my custom 6.5cm built ~2016. I didn't want to sell it but I was made an offer I couldn't refuse. I don't know what's great these days in precision rifle. So I can spend a max $3000 for rifle, stock/chassis, dies and tools if needed.
I kept my Razor 4x27, badger mount and rings. I do reload.
I do not compete in PRS but have shot competition for close to 25 years at a high level. Mostly action pistol and multigun.
1. What cartridge? I want something that kicks less than a 6.5cm, efficient, easy to load not picky, can get to 1100 yards but this not likely to get used past 1000. Have factory ammo available or brass that is easy to find and doesn't cost a lot, last decent barrel life (2500 rounds?). 6GT ?
2. What action or complete rifle? I want something smooth and fast. Light bolt lift, effortless feeding and cycling. I do not have access to a lathe so the barrel has to go on with vise and action wrench, gauges, if buying action only. Would like to use unmodified AICS type mags. It doesnt need to be the best action, just something that pretty good, popular and has a good reputation.
3. Stock/chassis I like the looks of a stock, had the manners T4A and liked it, but I've shot ARs so long now maybe a chassis would be better for me. I like the ideal of adding weight to it when I wanted also. I'm not sure on the weight yet, maybe 12-18lbs without optic.
4. Barrel 24-26" M24 profile I guess. .5 moa consistently 5 shots. I know this depends on shooter load and conditions. Didn't know how to ask but I can shoot 1/2" at 100 from the bench without too much effort with the right rifle and loads. Finding the 2 together is the hard part. Hence all the questions and knowledge you folks have to offer.

Mdt precision bottom metal fitment question

Seeing if anyone can confirm an issue I am having with a mdt precision bottom metal I am using for a build.

I bought a manners pro hunter with m5 mini chassis. I received this mdt bottom metal and tried to mount the action. The bottom metal doesn’t fully contact the manners mini chassis. The bottom metal “lip” is contacting the bottom of the stock (circled in red).

I sent both the bottom metal and stock to
Manners and they had it for a cpl weeks trying to determine if they could make it work. They even contacted mdt. In the end I decided to have them ship it back and ordered Hawkins bottom metal.

Does anyone have mdt bottom metal they can confirm has this same lip? I sent the photos to mdt and they said it’s normal, but it doesn’t look right. It has a weird step up that doesn’t flow from front to back. Any photos to compare would be great! I have seen others use this same combo which is making me question the one I have.
