If I put an ad in the local paper saying I'll pay $1,000/month for someone to mow my yard, my phone would blow up with people wanting the job.
Likewise, when government advertises it will pay people for making poor life choices, people will volunteer.
Instead of killing a baby to avoid the consequences of randomly sleeping around, women could avail themselves of the numerous methods of birth control that doesn't include murder.

This was always a states issue. The federal gov has zero authority in this area. Go read Casey and tell me that it isn't obvious that the judges didn't know the legal foundation for Roe didn't exist.
As others have said it'll be kicked back to the states and not a whole lot will likely change immediately. It will allow for more change over time on a state by state basis which is how it always should have been.

I agree very much on the point that you never here an abortion supporting politician try and argue that the states have no power to make their own laws. That is essentially the legal ramification of Roe.
The constitution is and the founders where clear that any powers not given specifically to the fed are reserved for the states. Roe basically tossed that baby out with the bath water, pun intended.
I object to abortion both morally and religiously which are effectively the same thing which is another debate entirely but that isn't why Roe should be overturned.
If Roe is overturned, and I think its still a big if it will be very interesting to see what the Left does in response. Threaten to pack the court, that's ganna get Conservatives out to vote in record numbers I imagine. Try to pass legislation on the federal level, I think will likely have the same effect.
This should not be a federal issue. States right IMO. Federal laws on abortion are outside the scope of what the federal government should be concerned with.
It’s obvious there is a great divide on people’s feeling of what is right and when life begins. Allowing different areas (states)to decide on a path forward gives both sides what they want, regardless of where you fall on the issue.

That's correct. This is why the left is always so worried about it being overturned. They know there was NEVER any legal basis for it to begin with. We DESPERATELY need States rights to be empowered as they were always supposed to be. It's the only chance we have at survival. If we are able to come back from this disaster we find ourselves in, it will be only by States Rightful power being restored over that of the Federal government.
