Had a couple of hours to kill on a road trip today and stopped at the very cool little Ransom E. Oldsmobile Museum in Lansing Michigan. Had never even heard of it until I googled "Museums nearby."

Very neat stuff and not just cars, but industrial technology that was really neat!

And this was the coolest car in the place, I don't care who you are! Olds 442 Big Block Vistacruiser Wagon!!!

Now THAT is a Wagonmaster Family Truckster for taking the tribe across country, Clark!

Isn't a Vista cruiser what they had on that 70's show? Beautiful wagon.

I have no f'n idea what a "lizzo" is but it sounds like my life is quite complete without that knowledge.

I once dated a girl who had an iguano.. does that count? That sucker could leap 10' across the room.

It needs to be cleaned and disinfected.

With what? There isn't enough alcohol, peroxide, bleach, germicide or fungicide to kill whatever that thing put on it.

Forget ever taking that flute back. It's ruined forever.

If it were ever put in a museum, the memory of a great man is forever ruined by that skanky-blubber-butted-smelly bitch. No decent American could ever look at that, once beautiful, instrument without seeing that cellulite nightmare in their mind.

I was thinking a disinfectant flush and then an autoclave.

You could sit that flute on a block of plutonium and there still wouldn't be enough radiation to kill the microbes that thing is carrying.

EDIT: I'm a big band, bluegrass, country, western swing and rockabilly kind of guy but even an ignorant, tin-eared redneck like me knows beautiful music when I hear it and when beautiful ladies are making it.

Enjoy...

Well the worst of the hurricane is probably over. Power went out about 10, came back on a while about midnight (time may be screwy, I was sleeping some) and went back off. Ran the gennie beginning about 6am and saw lights come on in the shop about 6:40. Surry Power FTW.

Just a reminder, coffee makers pull a lot of power LOL

I'm still in the process of listening to the podcast.

Keep in mind that you could be labeled a nut-case simply because you want to own a gun. Some mental health "experts" will use that to give you a negative assessment on an evaluation.

You could be perfectly normal with everything else but simply by wanting own a gun will get you into trouble. Now just think about what your evaluation will look like if you also want carry a gun.

PS: I wouldn't give anyone in the mental health field the sweat off of my balls if they were dying of thirst. I cannot think of a more worthless profession. They only thing they do is steal another person's oxygen.

If anyone cares to disagree, save your effort. I will not be convinced.

PSS: I listened to half of the pod cast and couldn't tolerate anymore of it. Fuck those asshole mental health professionals. There is nothing going to change their minds about the 2A community.

I haven't seen one psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor or social worker that had enough common sense to pour water out of a bucket even if the directions were written on the bottom. Not only that, they lie every time they open their mouths.
I haven't seen any of those listed that wasn't mentally ill themselves. Some SERIOUSLY.

My mama had a Regency 98 with a 455 and it would indeed spin right on into high without moving 50 feet 😅
Mid 70’s my mom had the Buick wagon with the 350 in it. It would punch up to 100 pretty quick, even though 55 was the highest speed limit-lol. My buddies parents had the Chevy Caprice wagon with the 454- 4 barrel carb. Man the 70’s were fun.
