Missed the point.
Constitutional right, 2nd amendment.
Made to wait, background check to test the veracity of your credentials.
Apply to voting, to all, and see if there would be the same acceptance.
IE some demographics are treated differently than others.

In Minnesota the carry permit doesn't get you a pass on the NICS check. I work at a gun store that's got five locations; pretty sizeable outfit. I would say we get 20-25% delays, nowadays and back as far as I remember. We call each check in rather than use Insta-Check because calling is faster with the volume we do. On the call-in NICS check, if ANYTHING isn't shiny perfect it gets an instant delay. Me, for example, I get delayed every time, but if I go to an FFL that uses Insta-Check I NEVER get a delay. We do release on the Brady date; that's up to us in Minnesota. They usually call back on my personal delays in about 5 minutes.

Sounds like a worthy SCOTUS case, if they'd agree to hear it.
I believe the Bruen decision made some mention of these types of disparities of rights.

I like the enhanced permit. I spend time in Montana, Utah and Washington fishing and hunting. The permit lets me carry in these states as though they were Idaho.

Inconvenience is definitely and without question an infringement. Certainly not the greatest of our criminal government’s infringements, but one nonetheless.
I don't think here is SC they release after 3 days anymore thanks to that piece of shit Dylann Roof shooting up the church goers here in Charleston. The gun he used he bought from a gun store near Columbia that released it to him after a 3 day delay.

I just got my very first delay and it has me all sort of bent out of shape. I buy guns all the time and have never had an issue. Wally World had a good deal on a shotgun. Now I don’t know what to think…
