After Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s potential assassin was caught, Justice Amy Coney Barrett lost it. Many thought she was about to resign. She was genuinely scared to death. The Biden Admin and dem Senators ignored Justice’s pleas for help. Protesters were allowed to get very, very close to Justice’s homes. This was intentional.

Unfortunately, he picked Pam Bondi because she reflects his views. You remember her sitting with him with the press and the cameras rolling talking about their shared zest for gun control.

Pam Bondi did it better, however, advocating for Florida law banning bump stocks and raising the age to purchase rifles to 21. She helped get those passed in Florida, and, as Attorney General in Florida, she defended them successfully. Trump's gun control got overturned by the Supreme Court and his red flag idea thankfully never got off the ground. His red flag idea was more extreme than any of the states that have it (take the guns first, due process second, you might remember him correcting his Vice President, Mike Pence, on camera).

So he picked the state AG that got things done and kept them in place, perhaps hoping that she could help him do what he failed to do last time.

He is not going to fix or replace her. She is exactly what he wanted.

At some point we are going to be able to see how much of these announced savings turn into actual savings on spending, rather than just declared savings that may not be real.

I predict the actual savings will be tiny, such a small percentage that it will be dwarfed by just the normal growth in things like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, the three fastest growing programs, along with other entitlements that grow without Congress lifting a finger, automatically.
