Awesome suppressor muzzle brake front end attachment by Recoilx

Got mine at lunch today.

For science, SilencerCo Bravo is 2.6oz and Dead Air/Diligent Defense is 2.8oz. Installed one on my Nomad Ti XC for this weekend and it was timed almost perfectly without the jam nut. The one I put on my Omega 300 however had way more threads on it than the suppressor did and getting the jam nut to lock to the rim of the suppressor was a bit more tricky.

Mine was a little tricky to time on my scythe as well. Collar wasn't real easy to tighten down so had to try and time it perfect where you could twist the brake body where it tightened up perfectly in time.

I didn’t find it hard at all to install on the Omega. Screwed it all the way in and backed off until it was level and tightened the jam nut which I didn’t have issues. Per their instructions the jam nut is supposed to tension the brake and not brake against the can for those that don’t have one yet.

Yeah I think the Ti XC was so easy it just spoiled me when I moved to the Omega. Also going to put on on a DD Wolf Hunter to see how close to zero recoil I can get a 22CM ha.

Picked up my Nomad Ti XC today and my RecoilX made it to NC and out of GA finally! Yay! Should be here tomorrow.

Any of the new users want to comment on comparison of sound with and without the RecoilX and if it makes it much louder or not too bad?

Significantly louder, especially within structures

Same. But definitely not difficult. Tricky is a fair word. I did not have this trickiness with Diligent Enticer S Ti. Might be the bevel that SiCo has on the end.

I shoot with ear pro anyway, so I can’t answer about sound fairly. But I *can* give my opinion that even with the Recoil X the concussion remains all but gone. So the silencer is certainly less effective at reducing sound levels but the violent concussion is still tamed by the silencer. And that was my main concern.

Yeah I always wear hearing protection. Double when I use brakes but now with this set up I may go down to one set. That was what I was kind of wondering about the noise and concussion.

The recoilX on a 6-7" can is 10x more tolerable than a brake. I wear ear pro, our range has the typical overhead awning to keep weather out. I didn't find it loud at all.

I shot both the scythe TI w/ recoil x and tbac magnus k rr yesterday. In my opinion they were Very very similar in terms of recoil reduction. The impulse on the RR might be a touch quicker - closer to a brake feeling. Recoil x feels a touch softer though. Both measured about the same for reticle movement. I took some trigger cam video and you nearly can’t tell the difference besides the RR being a touch quicker.

The recoil x sure makes for a versatile option. Hard to justify spending $1500 on an RR if you already have a can that’s compatible with the x. I wish tbac would have options for flat end and braked both

I wouldn't be surprised if TBAC had that in the works. But who knows, they're like 18-24mo back logged on production right now.

Got mine in and screwed on nice but a question for you guys. How deep do you screw it in? I can screw it deep enough so the collar is in the first port and I know that’s not right but I want it screwed in enough so it won’t shoot off under pressure. Any advice?

All the way is what I did. Keeps the threads from getting dirty and filled with carbon, at least on the omega anyway

What can? And glad you said something I need to check one of mine.

I am using a Nomad Ti XC. I was thinking as long as it’s deep enough to cover all the interior threads like the cap it should be fine. Tough to get that measurement exactly but can get close I think.

Hmmm that’s the one I just went up and looked at. I bottomed mine out in the suppressor and it was timed almost perfectly. Tightened the lock collar and while it’s very close the collar is not over a port, there is a tiny lip.

Yeah it doesn’t cover the port but is into it making a lip of about maybe .1”. Have you shot yours like that? Can you post a pic?

Hard to get perfect side shot:
