• Neolube #2 inside necks
• Mandrel up to 0.002" neck tension (pin gauge test to confirm every ten or so)
• trim/chamfer

I generally store the brass after tumbling and when I'm ready to do a session for a particular load, I pull some of that brass and then do the final prep. Sometimes I'll re-apply Neolube after running the mandrel, and I like doing the chamfer as the last step as a way to help keep track (easy to see the clean cut brass with lubed necks).

Thanks for the reply; what cartridge is this and I'm sorry if I missed it earlier? I assume if your sizing with SAC neck shoulder bushing that means SAC modular sizing die? Again thanks for the info

Mine is very similar, though I use Unique Lube and just wipe it off - so no need to dry tumble after sizing. I use moly pre-mandrel and neolube as the last step before prime/charge/seat

That’s actually a good idea; I may just use dry neck lube pre-mandrel and finish with Neolube

I used to clean out the dry lube after using the mandrel, but found it made no difference - might actually help things. It's an extra step, so taking it out saves some time. Now I'm experimenting with:

For each case in succession:

1) Case lube using Unique
2) Size
3) Immediately dip neck in dry lube
4) Wipe clean the outside of the case of both Unique and excess dry lube
5) Place in tray for mandrel step

Makes things a little faster. I was a bit worried about the application media sticking to the Unique on the outside of the case neck, but it hasn't happened so far (one batch in).
