Full disclosure, I'm the project manager for GUNSTRUCTION. I don't want this to be spammy (mods please delete if you feel it is) but I was hoping I could solicit some feedback from your community regarding our AR15 builder software that we've recently opened up to the public. I saw that there was a thread on GUNSTRUCTION from early this year, so I thought maybe there would be some interest.

I'd love to hear your general feedback, concerns and thoughts. There are still some quirks (especially with saving, being fixed for our next patch!) but any feedback you guys can provide will go a long way to making the product even better.

What's the drama with Troy lately?

They hired a guy that a bunch of people don't like. Long story.

As for the site, running on the unity engine has merit, but I can't see it on my tablet so I'll have to check in the morning from work.

One of these days, ar15.com is going to have to port itself off its old code and onto a new site. I know it'll be a post-count blood bath, but the longer it goes on, the less the site is worth to its community.

Sorry, not going to install another media player to take a look. I know little about the Unity player and don't really like things that 'clutter' my system. I'm sure you have reasons for going that route but when I click a link that wants me to install something, my first reaction is to close the window.

Yes. Make it work on Chrome also. Some of us only use IE or Mozilla if forced to do so.

Should work fine in Chrome, it's what I use as my primary as well. It only doesn't work in ChromeOS if you're using a Chromium Netbook, or just happen to have Chromium installed as your main OS.

Sorry you feel that way. The Unity engine is a very well known and respected game engine in the games industry world. It's really the only way we can do what we're doing in a browser and the reason our competition is purely 2d and not as feature filled. The unity engine has been used by many, many games here's some reading if you want to know more:
