Range Report Velocity for .308 168 smk

I run that same load ( except CCI primers ) in my 20" SPS Tactical. My chrono avg was 2505, with the chrono 10' from the muzzle. First time ever using a chrono, and was only 5 rounds at that powder charge, as I was working up the load. Planning on a larger sample next chance I get. Seemed a little slow, but grouped very well !

60 degrees F
density alt. 5300'
2623 fps:
Vihtavuori N150 @41.0 gr. FGM brass, CCI and S&B primers.
26" barrel. Savage 12.

Bench chronographed (SD is below 10 fps) and trajectory validated (out to 600 yards). Been using this load a very long time. Brass has been FS bumped .002" many times with no sign of excessive pressure or wear. COAL 2.795", brass capacity is 55 grains last time I checked. MV increases to about 2648 @85 degrees F; @35 degrees it is about 2600. Give or take a few fps.

EDIT: Oops. Sorry, this is a Varget thread.
