Some video of my P-308 at the range this weekend

I Went to the range to try two new 25rd mags and brown bear 140gr SP in the P-308.

The mags had a few issues with the first 2-3 rounds of soft point. The rifle functioned fine.

I expect the mags to wear in with a little use. They seem to feed fine after the first rounds have been shot. I'll report more as they get more cycles through them.

A friends 13yr old daughter shot it a few tim[span style='text-decoration: line-through;'][/span]es and enjoyed it!

I changed out the carbine length tube for a rifle tubes, PRS, Tubbs flat wire spring and a rifle length enidine buffer.

The recoil impulse was changed. It is noticeably softer. I plan on taking slash's advice and using one of his armalite AR-10 springs.

love the rifle and glad that you are taking the young lady out shooting but by all means teach her some trigger control...she is yanking that trigger and removing her finger after every shot like the trigger is going to burn her fingers.

Love my P308. Got out to the range yesterday myself for some precision shooting. Shot a few groups of FGMM 168gr and a few groups of Hornady 168gr BTHP. Was grouping right around 0.75" in a 15mph right to left wind, 32F and light stead snow. Best group so far is FGMM 175gr 5 shots 0.53" on a nice warm, calm day this past August. I have some Hornady 168gr Amax Match arriving this week. Will be testing that out once it arrives.

+1 for a great rifle.

I heard the enidine buffers were problematic. Hope it works for you and is reliable.

ETA:
I got a flyer from this site selling surplus buffers for $9.00. For the price I was thinking of trying one. They are a reputable site and have ordered from them several times
