Yeah, I shoot there. We will probably have a PRS Club match there in June. Our mostly normal match, but will earn PRS Club points for those in the race.
I just signed up for the Club series. I will keep an eye out for the match. Should be hitting the next few practices as well. Nice to have some down time.

Was down visiting my mother in the early spring, shot at Volusia county gun and hunt club. Really like the place just wish they had the 1000 yard range open more.
Loved the way the range was run, the prices are fair to. I only went on Wednesdays cause I'm not a member and I was just visiting but if I move down I'll definitely be joining. I will be bugging the hell out of them to run the 1000 yard range more thats for sure!
You do not have to be a member to attend the 1000 yard practices or the matches. All are welcome and we encourage new shooters.
On the regular range,yes. But you can always contact a member, such as myself and come as a guest for the regular $15 fee...

Come on up. We have a few guys that travel from that general area now and then to shoot here.
There are also other possible options for you, though I have no personal experience with them. There's Manatee on the west coast, Altair (I think) was offering Long Range at one time in the Everglades, and I've heard of another club further south from here, but cannot remember the name or location.

Yeah, I know of Manatee and Altair. Altair is pretty much a private range, not a lot of info for long range shoots with them. Manatee doesn't offer as much as VCGHC and is about the same distance. We got Homestead Training Center down here which is the 500 yard range I mentioned. I heard Okeechobee Shooting Sports is expanding to 1000 yards but so far that's only word of mouth.
Yup, Jeff at OSS has been talking about 1000 yards for several years now, I think the hold up is getting the land. Been a member there since just before they opened, when they had some open house days. 50 minute drive for me from northern Palm Beach county, wish they were open more during the week.........

Well, come on up here and shoot a practice on a Saturdsy or a Wednesday (once per month each). Or come to a match. We are very amenable to new shooters and it's a fun time here.
