hope that whole #resistance thing is worth it when you are rotting in club fed.

i really dont know what the fuck these people expect...when i had an active clearance, it was spelled out VERY clearly that if i ever mishandled classified info, i would be found, and locked away for a LOOONG time.

i mean, do these "activists" not know why we classify information?........its because if that information is made public, it can be reasonably expected to be damaging to the US....

.......but i suppose if you support Socialism, then maybe thats the outcome you want.....

Well, you answered your own question. That's the main point.

There's also the point to consider that she's of a generation that has never been taught that they could ever be held accountable for anything, so it may be a new concept for her. I'll bet her parents have shelves full of her Participation trophies on display. Ms. Reality Winner may actually be experiencing her first taste of her namesake. "Congratulations! You are the Winner of a big dose of Reality. Ironic, no? You couldn't make this up.

Aldrich Ames got life without parole, but he also got at least a dozen U.S. assets arrested and executed in the basement of Lubyanka. He should have been executed. Slowly. He did massive damage in order to have a trophy wife and a Jaguar.

My guess is she'll probably get a hard sentence, but her lawyers will argue that she was given too harsh a sentence and made an example of... and it will get dialed back on appeal.

She'll do time, though.

Man I hope that this is justca warm up . Like to see the head of NSA rot in a cell . The guy perjured himself about Russia and the FISA warrants etce repeatedly . Wouldn't be surprised if he had fingerprint on all of this shit . On another note saw a sticker in a minivan window that said resist . This is how our system works . Trump was legally elected and yet we have numerous assholes in this Country that have been trained to cry when they don't get their way .​​​​​​

I saw that too and wondered WTF ever happened to the C (Compartmented) in SCI, she isn't a Russian linguist and has no reason to have had access to an investigation unrelated to her.

My guess is that the people who gave her the TS clearance, knew that her belief system would require he to betray America someday, and that is why she got the job. My guess is that the way she got the info she leaked is someone wanted it leaked, but they hoped to avoide going to prision so they gave the info to her knowing what she was likely to do.


If ever a situation cried out for a Special Prosecutor this is it.

Not gonna lie....that sounds a little tinfoil hatish.....

I mean, so long as you arent in crippling debt, frequent with iranians, or are into kinky bondage sex.....you can get a TS clearance pretty easy.

I have to say that after reviewing the leaked documents in some detail, I am now convinced that Hillary Clinton lost the election as a direct result of the stupid shit that Hillary Clinton did.

Note the chart, and how the NSA penciled in the hard connections (Yellow Lines = Analyst Judgement) between the Russian government and the hackers. Anyone who knows anything about Malware, Viruses, Phishing attacks, and hacking knows that what doesn't come from East Asia almost always comes from Russia.
You can't just fill in the blanks in an investigation and sell it as concrete proof. You can't, but they did.


Of course, if you watched the MSM reports today, this is the smoking gun that links the Russian government to the attempted hacks.

What's wrong with "kinky bondage" between consenting adults? Err....well let's talk about those hats. I believe that the previous administration steered business toward companies that were ran by people with whome they were ideologically alligned. That ideology seemed to many of us to place partisan advantage infront the national interest. Given her believe that white people are terrorists I'm not sure that she should have been able to keep her TS clearance. I'll tell you what why don't you make a few FB posts attributing some bad character flaw to some other racial group and see how long you keep that easy clearance. It is not that much of a streach to see that if she had information that might be harmful to Trump she might leak it, given that her ideological passions were known. So given that her specialities were Pashto, Farsi & Dariwhat other reason would someone have had to share the latest intel on Russia with her?

So I guess when it comes to tinfoil hats, make mine with two layers.

back in the 80s they came and interviewed my friends when I was getting my clearances, they also told me minimum sentence 75 years and up to death if I fkd up

Another thing they had a civilian come and interview before and after background checks, some kind of intel guy.

^^^ The FBI (and whoever else at the time was doing the background checks... but I think it was the FBI) interviewed my scout leader... college room-mates... high school principle... neighbors from growing up...

Despite that, I still got cleared for stuff. Guess the principle didn't tell them about the IED's in my teachers' desks. Then again, that wasn't problematic in the '80s.

I also remember my "If you share any of this stuff, we will put you under a federal jail" briefing.

That little twat needs to go away for decades.

Last time they were asking me questions about someone getting vetted for their security clearance, they first had a paper that stated something to the effect that the person getting the security check done on them had the right to see any negative information provided & be told who provided that information.

Well... pretty much a way to guarantee they don't to find out any dirt about people
If you want to know if a guy is addicted to anal and his wife doesn't like it, or if someone has ever been possibly inappropriate with someone a bit too young... you really need to make sure the people that might tell you that information, know they will be kept anonymous. If you are going to ask the wife if the husband pressures her to go to "group" clubs.... best make sure it's never going to get back to the husband that the wife told on him.

The security vetting has way too many holes these days, thanks to political correctness.

Also if you always make sure politically correct snakes get the jobs and do best on the tests... well don't expect those same two faced snakes to have any loyalty to their country.

I had several lifestyle polygraph tests for what I used to do. It was made clear that your life would be bad if you elected to divulge what you did and what you knew.

I really would like to see what comes out of the trial and what she gets.

Treason is treason...there really is only one acceptable punishment for violating a trust with your Government that you freely entered

Will never go to trial, I predict plea bargain for two to five years in minimum security club fed, probation to follow. She's already an idiot, she would be an even bigger idiot to not accept what the federal prosecutor offers to save on trial time versus stringing it out when they have her dead to cunts admitting to being guilty.

On a more technical note.. I found it fascinating to learn how they tracked her. Including the use of tracking dots on almost all printers and photocopiers. I had long suspected that such things existed, but had never confirmed it. All modern laser printers and most copiers have a system that embeds tiny yellow dots (visible under blue light and using 'readers') that will show the date and time of the copy and the serial number of the copier. With modern big data... that means that even the printer on your desk can be tracked back to the Best Buy where you bought it... and if it is online, it is likely that it transmits its serial number and location data to whomever is watching.

Guess it's time for the tinfoil hat set to go back to IBM Selectric's....

Apparently when the FBI got ahold of the original document from the reporters (they asked to inspect it to verify that it was not faked) the printer went right to our little leaker. Time, date everything... combined with being mailed from Augusta, Ga. (and I would not doubt her fingerprints on the paper or her DNA on the paper or envelope) and it was a 2 day track to find the mole. Compare that to what used to happen when you had to use canary traps and other 'analog' methods. Impressive... and more than a bit eerie.

BTW, the Electronic Frontier Foundation has a 'decoding tool' available to the public!

There's legitimate whistleblowing of unconstitutional and/or criminal acts by government leaders, then there's criminal anonymous leaking TS/SCI information to the media with a political agenda which this falls into. This was a purely criminal act, she completely knew what she was doing was highly illegal from her previous years of holding a clearance, and "Deep Throat" she is not anyhow.

Her admission of it was essentially her giving the FBI and AG office two tickets to take her to pound town.

From Bloomberg:
"A federal prosecutor said in court that authorities had uncovered a series of “new and downright frightening" other acts by Winner, including inserting a thumb drive into her Air Force computer and taking classified information while she was still in the military."
