Apps that incorporate plug in wind meter?

Don't know about the SIG but I'm using Geoballistics' BallisticARC Pro with the WeatherFlow Weathermeter and I get my solutions nice and easy just like the guys with the much more expensive Kestrel do. I have to admit though I'm still in the learning curve with saving my data for future use. The Pro app that let's you store multiple records was $15 from the app shop the free version only let's you store one record. The WeatherFlow Weathermeter for wind velocity, station pressure, and temp was around $82, a far cry from the price of a Kestrel.

Strelok Pro allows the use of several different options.
How do you like the Strelok Pro? I just found out it also allows the use of the Geoballistics/WeatherFlow Weathermeter plus it has my optics' reticle. Just not sure how I feel about it being a Russian app, the GeoBallistics is from Texas. Other than that it seems to have more ammo data preloaded.
стрелок , or in English Strelok is their word for sniper.

I like Strelok a lot. Very user friendly with a lot of features and it is updated often. It's been around for a while and seems to have been the most consistent ballistics app support and update wise.

I’ll second what @One1Bravo said. Despite the app developer being a Crazy Ivan and the GUI being a bit clunky, it is the best supported ballistics app that I have seen/used. It allows interface with different weathermeters. I’ve used it with both weather flow and kestrel/

Have you tried BallisticsARC? If so how do they compare?

I have several apps
Trasol
Strelok
BallisticsARC
Ballistic AE
Hornady
BulletFlight
Lapua Ballistics
Honestly they all are pretty much the same. You just have to put the correct info in to get the correct info out. Most of the differences are cosmetic and minor. Sure some have a few more features than the others but does it really matter? Rarely ! Don’t get too hung up on which app you have. Get one and learn all of its settings and put in corrrect info. Then the solution out put will be correct. Learn how to do the velocity and bc corrections.

The integrated systems to me are the way to go. One less error at the data entry point.
The kestrel with the AB is the standard all are judged by. The Sig is awesome also would love one.
Currently I am running the WeatherFlow with the BallisticsARC and Strelok. Both work great with it.

I wish Ballistic AE would link but only because I am more familiar with it

Thanks! I appreciate it. I've used Hornady, Ballistics Buddy, Zeiss Hunting, the basic version of Strelok (a good while ago), and now BallisticsARC Pro. At least at the time Strelok was clunky, and I haven't used it since. Geoballistics' BallisticARC Pro I've used with my WeatherFlow Precision Weathermeter, and my buddy's Kestrel with great results I just wished they'd update their ammo library more often.

From what I've seen on their web site the Strelok includes scope specific reticle types and a much larger ammo libray. I just wanted to know how much of a difference it really makes in the end results.

Ive got Strelok Pro and Hornady, the Hornady app is getting better but still a little clunky for Android. The handshake between the Weatherflow Precision Weathermeter doesn't seem to be that stable. My last attempt (this spring) I tried pairing and still had to manually enter some atmospherics. Strelok seems to play very well with the Weatherflow meter, and does what I need so I use it predominantly.

Does the Weatherflow Weathermeter actually show station pressure? I looked at it and it seemed to only do barometric pressure. Looking for a weather device to give me temp, wind speed, station pressure, and relative humidity. Looks like the Weatherflow Weathermeter would do 3 of those 4. Thanks!

What am I missing here? Isn't the pressure where your measuring it, "station pressure?" Thanks

If you're measuring it with a meter, it's station pressure. If you're getting it off the internet from say, an airport, it's probably barometric pressure. We are discussing meters and ballistics apps so we use "measured station press" as an input into DA calc. Thanks

Ballistic Arc is one of my favorite apps to play with... you could be bored at the dmv and fiddle with the satellite ranging feature ..

I did some comparison to my buddy's kestrel and it was splitting hairs to see a difference
