So after "pulling the trigger" on a Kestrel 5700 Elite, this seems like the next logical step. I have a Leica 1200 LRF, however it's going back for repair/service. I have a source for the Bushnell while not "new" it's near new, and I'm OK with that & the price is right. However, I have seen alot of units for sale? and I'm wondering about that? also Brownells advertises the unit as "discontinued" which has me "second guessing" myself. I believe that Bushnell has a lifetime warranty though.

Any long time end users care to "chime" with there respective opinions or experiences?
Most reviews, say the unit "punches above it weight" for the price, and some comment that the "screen" is too "busy"? or complicated?

Thanks & stay safe

I use one and have had great experiences. I have ranged 10" reflective plates @1,000 yards in bright sunlight. Yes it was on a tripod and yes it took a few seconds (3 or 4) to get a return on that target and distance but it worked. At closer distances, it is pretty fast. Longer distances are hit or miss even on a tripod.

I paid $300 brand new and it definitely is better than anything else I have tried at anywhere near this price point.

within the past year i got mine got the conex 1 mile and the kestral they were on sale for 629, something + shipping yea its not the best , it works have fun and enjoy when it stops working I'll start looking again for another still can only get one of the two items connected to the phone at any one time but I'll figure it out one day hope before i get too old the infromation packet that came with it is printed so small i have to use a magnifying glass just to read it .

Thanks, I'm around that price point, BTW did you use it with the Kestrel in the LINK mode? I really like that feature, to be able to have the rangefinder connected to the Kestrel.

I'll probably be using the unit under the 1000yrd range, so it sounds like it will work for me.

I've had one for a while. I would wait on ordering - the new Nitro 1800 should be out shortly, and it's looking like a better performer than the CONX at a lower price point. The only two things the ConX has that the Nitro doesn't are asn illuminated display and integrated 1/4x20 mounting point, and there's bound to be an aftermarket mount for the Nitro.

I had one and like it very much. I ended up going with Leica that was on sale and sold my ConX on Ebay for a profit as I bought the ConX when Bushnell was having a huge rebate.

The two reasons I sold it were because I wanted a smaller form factor and the Leica's glass and performance are incredible. But for the right price and combining it w/ a Kestral and you have a nice set up. So, my answer is, if the price is right then I would recommend.

Thanks, and its "yes & yes" to that question. Sounds like the consensus is that combined with the Kestrel its G2G. Cheers

So I've been reading several reviews and it seems that folks either really like it, or say it performs poorly? , however most have been positive. I think for the price point I paid I did OK. Today I thought that I had an issue with my Leica and contacted the warranty center for advice, and they don't repair the LRF 1200 SCAN anymore?, so that has me worried. They did offer a trade in/upgrade.

So I'm gonna tee this up the Bushnell Advanced Tripod, anyone do the same? or comment on the tripod? Thanks

Thanks, now I do have "buyers remorse" :( LOL. The price is about the same, I'm wondering if its worth to return the Bushnell and get this?

Well the tripod arrived, and it's pretty decent quality, not the "lightest" however that's not really a concern. It's well made and study, there is no "cheap" feeling to it, and it's has the Bushnell lifetime warranty if I need it.
