What do you all believe are states that still remember freedom? I am in California, and am planning to move in the next several years, but haven’t figured out where. We lost Virginia and Texas is blueing. I am rather concerned about the tree being refreshed and wonder... where is the strongest place to stand?

As long as you don't vote for the same dumb as policies and type of politicians that have fucked your state up come to Charleston, SC we are being invaded by Yankees and could use some help in Charleston county. Oh and we got two Palmetto State Armory's within a 15-20 minute drive, 100yd range 20 minute drive, 800yd range about and 1.5hr drive, 1000yd+ ranges a little further, beaches, a lot of history. If you bring your old lady you better make damn sure she knows how to vote if not leave her the fuck in Comiforna.

We have 2 new neighbors in 2 years from Cali, but they are extreme liberal retards they only came here to escape the taxes. FL is a hot second from becoming CA 2.0 the Yokkas have been invading us for decades. Q2 estimates FL's population is increasing by 900 people PER DAY in 2019. I fear many are brain dead progressives escaping Democrat anal raping taxation policies. I 'fear' it b/c the garden variety liberal is so concerned with virtue signaling and PC pressures they will go right ahead and vote in the same Democrat morons who destroyed the state they left.

There are few places to flee to soon. I'm gonna stand and deliver here in Illinois. I will not comply but haven't figured out how to avoid the taxes which have increased 40% in 4 years. Not enough $ to flee to another State. I'll have to hunker down here for the time being.

If you really think that a shtf is going to happen then you better pick a place where you could survive without help.

That rules out metro areas and burbs. Those places will be clusterfucks unlike anyone’s has seen before. Imagine those places without electricity or phone service.....for just a couple of weeks.

You may want an area with like-minded people as well. Create a network, be self reliant.

If I were you and was truly going to make a move and commit I would keep those things in mind.

Wyo
Dakotas
Montana

It would be where I would start my search.

Only downside is it is if it’s a shtf scenario can you survive winter?

Can anywhere in those areas support your employment needs.

A lot goes into a decision like this if you are wanting to think it all the way through.

I don't think you'd like the 20-40 winds and blowing snow so PLEASE stay where you are, we don't need more people thinking we need more taxes to pay for people unwilling to work or contribute.
Just thinking of what of those from your area after moving here. SORRY, just my .02

Id toss up Indiana. We offer a lifetime handgun permit (only thing better is no permit) taxes are fair and very gun friendly. Weather is generally mild in the winter but hot and humid in the summer.

Id also say stay and fight there. One person can't fight this battle alone but turning things around has to start somewhere.

I agree with many of your points. Thank you all for thoughts. The states mentioned have come up several times in my reading. I have been working backward from states the treasonous consider “bad” and checking on jobs and schools and etc. I have started trying to visit them where possible.

I do donate to the various funds here in CA but it is hard. Watching the rich fund the insane to pass laws we fight back only to have the case dropped before reaching the supremes. The whole no battle for naught and no precedent set for round two. Barratry is legal for some it seems.

Watching Virginians, and other areas, fight to make 2nd amendment sanctuary zones gives me with hope that the country I love can be saved.

I left NY when I looked around and recognized that all anyone else was willing to do there was talk big and keep their heads down when they thought their words might earn them some extra heat from Mr. Cuomo's boys and girls. I imagine you have the same situation where you are.

Until you and I and the rest of us here do more than talk and propose and pose; the situation here, there, and everywhere else is just going to continue its downhill slide. If all you're going to do is lament and complain when you get where you're going, none of us want you.

If I had been an Arizonan when I, as a New Yorker, arrived, I'd have been mightily pissed. I'm still hanging in the shadows and waiting for others to GOWI, while four Cali/Seattle/Portandia type households have arrived since I did. When that GOWI happens, I get off the fence, but NOT until those who want US to do the heavy lifting get off their OWN asses and meaningfully resist.

Call me what you want, but I'm no less worthy than pretty much everyone else I've been reading here. It's all just talk so far, and talk is cheap.

Mice voting to bell that cat..., at best.

Greg

I will say this and that is that if and when you move don't vote for the free things and try changing the things in that state to improve it like Calif. or any other state you came from but vote to keep that new state the same as when you got there.
I welcome anyone here to enjoy the freedom we have and want to keep it that way, but don't go somewhere to advocate a state tax or something you left to better things, that state doesn't have this or that because the people of that said state know how to live within their budget and make it work. Just my.02

I mean, if you got a good job offer that will better you and the family as a whole in a good environment with people that already support your ideals then sure. Do what you need to do.

On the other hand, I think Chicago or DC might be good.
Just be sure to drive around in an old Chevy 454 dually with glass packs flying our nations flag to get the libs attention. Step out wearing a cape with the bill of rights on it to remind people what this place is supposed to be all about.
Maybe a Kevlar cape for Chicago.

Yea, you don't wanna go to Texas. Its hot, shitty, humid and about 2 minutes from purging the Cali and Yankee shitbags from the state. I hear Nevada is nice this time of year...

Nevada is home to the only place on earth with mosquitoes that transmit HIV. Nevada also gives out free vape to encourage homosexuality. The tax rate is 92%, vehicle tags are $2,000 per year, and the state is a sanctuary state.

Well then....

scratch that off from my list.

I thought about visiting Hoover damn but I think I may just stay home.

Michigan ain't bad. Just stay out of Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing and these days probably out of Traverse City as they are all liberal. Find some place rural with some good acreage. The UP is like stepping back in time 40 years and jobs I feel are not the greatest of you chose to not live in one of those cities. But anybody you bring, better vote republican, or leave them in that shit hole. Not currently aware of any anti 2A stuff.

Whitmer is a dumb fucking cunt, but the Republicans are mostly the ones in control. My roads are still trash, I guess people believed her when she said she was going to "Fix the damn roads." Whatever.

Nevada is the freest state in the Union, without a doubt. Legal hookers and weed, no taxes, privacy minded populace, and free public land for shooting on for over 87% (second only to Alaska) of the state, does it get any better? It's like Wyoming, but without eight months of winter and it actually has stores and jobs that don't require shoveling and/or CDL w/ HAZMAT and shit.

Anyone who tells you different is a damn liar.

You forgot the WIND. For 11.75 months a year.

Legal hookers sound good.

The Cato Institute ranks NV in the top five for freedom, Wyoming is at the bottom of the list and even got beat out by Washington State. No shit. https://www.freedominthe50states.org/
