I've contacted Adam as I can't get the app to download on an android smartphone. Gave him the phone model and he said that it had bt4 so it should work. I just cannot get the app from the google playstore. It says that it is unavailable. Anybody else have this problem?
The rest of the V3 system seems to work fine using the scale keys, but it sure would be nice to use that app instead.

Try removing it from your library and the redownloading it. Worst case, they should be able to host the app elsewhere and you should be able to side load it outside the play store.

That's the problem. It never has downloaded the app. When I try to install, it just says that it cannot find the app. I can go to the google playstore and it will show the app for v3, but when I hit the install button google says it cannot find it. Seems like Adam should be able to send it to me directly, so I'll try him again.

Removing from your library is different from uninstalling. Your account has a list of all the apps you have “purchased” (whether free or paid) and you can remove those apps from the list from your “my apps” list on the play store. When you tried to get the app for the first time the location of the file may have been corrupted and removing and readding it may be the solution.

Try that and also try clearing the app cache and App Store cache before you try redownloading the app.

I don’t have an android phone except for a development environment otherwise I’d take some screen shots but if I was a betting man I’d put money on this being your problem.

Thanks for the help Dave and I appreciate that. I checked what you said and the app was never installed. There is good news though. I had to use another browser, other than google/chrome. Once I went to that other browser I was able to download the app and now have it working.
Got me as to why, but that ended up being the solution for me.
