There's a lot of 6.5CM hate all of a sudden. WTF happened?

Sell me all of your junk obsolete 308 natch ammo, then you can buy more 6.5 ammo. I would all so take that crap 260 match ammo.

What is "natch" ammo? Can't tell if its some kind of secret squirrel code? Missing the "S" at the front? Or a typo for Match...

Just goes to show I need help any way you look at it.

Yall still have to field dress deer? Every deer I've shot with my 6.5cm had so much kinetic energy, it blew their guts right out their ass holes, thus leaving a completely hollow carcass and negating the need to field dress. Step yalls game up.
Tried the method of not gutting a deer past couple times. Don’t see a reason to even do it now. Peel the skin off, take the front shoulders and back straps, cut spine at the pelvis and let thr carcass drop into the bucket, no nasty gut pile.

Moma sez = You 308 shooters are just jealous, cuz the man bun gun guys can jus jerk da trigger an hit what dey aiming at.
Dey don need no stinking "fundamentals" an your strait sqeeeeez back finger pull displin nonsense.

My only thoughts are that it has been over hyped, and it doesn't quite live up to the hype.

I was a 6.5x47 Lapua before the Creedmoor came out. So I wasn't happy that Hornady came out with their own cartridge.

I have owned quite a few 6.5 Creedmoors since then I don't think there is anything magical about it. It is about as flat shooting as the 300 Winchester (not very flat) and nothing near what a 270, 6.5 PRC, 264 Win, 25-06 or anything else is.

Doesn't kick! So old men in their scooters like it.

Kind of like the 6.5 Swede it works, but isn't special.

Works very well for medium to small sized big game animals up to 400ish pounds within 400 yards. Gets less effective once you increase the size of the animal or the distance.

IF a bullet creates lift, it would create lift in every direction, negating any indication of lift.
I'd say 'Tell that to Gerald Bull'.... but he got snuffed.

Sooner or later, the lifting body boolit... and the gas assisted projectile will find its way down to small arms.

Just 'sayin.

It comes on a plate with tortilla chips, delicious melty cheese, some tomatoes and jalopeno slices.

Don't you pay attention?

My dad and I were early creedmoor shooters. Then the marketing bullshit drug all the fuckheads. Guys telling me the knockdown power, and crazy ranges it’s effective at. Bunch of idiots that can’t even read the end of an ammo box, let alone plug real data into a ballistic solver. I still shoot the 6.5 creedmoor along with 260(6.5-308) when we got involved with it. Also shoot 6.5-06 and 6.5/55. All are good calibers. Around here the typical idiot with a creedmoor has a savage in the lss MDT chassis. Along with the requisite Harris knock off bipod and Vortex diamond back tactical. Seldom shot past 100 yards, but they know it’s sub moa at a mile.

I shoot a 6.5 CM. My son shoots a 7CM wiildcat that Mark at SAC spun for me. Both are great deer and antelope guns to about 600yds. Don't care what anybody else shoots, I shoot what works for me. That kind of attention to others is for sheep and pussies. Mind yourself. I still have and shoot a 16" .308 a fair amount. In the same vain I don't take note what others drive, how often you go out to eat or any other thing that makes you different from me. I just don't care.

Gotta shoot this. Two years from now it'll be ya gotta shoot that. Another to years, gotta shoot this.
Buncha BS. Shoot whatever the hell you like , for whatever reason you like or no reason at all.

I don't have a 6.5 Creedmoooo... but there's one on the way, theoretically, when it will arrive who knows. Why did I choose that cartridge? Because I don't own one.
The last rifle I bought was a .25-06. Ya know why I chose that one? Because I didn't own one. Rifle before that was a 6CM. Because I didn't own one. (I have no driving desire for a .25 Creedmoor, but I would like a .25 Souper. Does that make any sense? Nope, but it doesn't need to.) Lets see... rifle before that was a 450/400NE, you guessed it, because I didn't own one. Rifle before that, a .250-3000... because I didn't have one. "One of each" (at least at one time or another) is my goal.
I feel sorry for folks who only do what internet forums tell them. And I'm completely at a loss when I see people making posts about consolidating and sticking with one or two rounds. Mindboggling. ;)

Let's not forget the health benefits of 6.5 Creedmoor.
When married with a quality Euro rifle... Tikka, Sako, AI, it can cure cancer within a 20 metre radius.
Even when stored in firearms cabinet.

Crossing creeks or rivers with above mentioned combos, leaves water purified and fish splendid.

Cannot resurrect the dead though.
When you shoot something with that combo.... it's dead for all eternity.
