I worked with a guy for years who worked for a carnival on the weekends. Every monday in the summer was the same thing, him bitching about how slow it was. I'd say "Yeah, you know why? Because it's not 1958! Kids are at home playing X-Box and whacking off to porn on their phone. They have no interest in paying $5 to try to knock a cement block over with a wiffle ball, to maybe win a .14 cent stuffed animal."
