Yeah, it has only been since the invention of the internet- and really the wide adoption of cellular phones- that carnivals, arcades, and casinos have become popular… 😒
Do people watch casino and carnival movies on the internet? Pretty sure those are IN PERSON things, But even then...

I worked with a guy for years who worked for a carnival on the weekends. Every monday in the summer was the same thing, him bitching about how slow it was. I'd say "Yeah, you know why? Because it's not 1958! Kids are at home playing X-Box and whacking off to porn on their phone. They have no interest in paying $5 to try to knock a cement block over with a wiffle ball, to maybe win a .14 cent stuffed animal." :D

Ocean’s 11, Casino Royal, Big… The point I’m making is that humans have been attracted to blinky lights since the time when the only blinky lights to be had were camp fires and stars. A short attention span is neither new nor novel. Nor s an attraction to novel attractions. And, Socrates’ grand father was known to say “kids today” and stroke his face in dismay.

I’ll just end all of this wth a meme that encapsulates my opinion…

"He’s the only guitarist that can give my boy Alex Lifeson a run for his money."

John McLaughlin, Steve Vie, Joe Satriani, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eddie Van Halen, John Scofield, Larry Coryell, Paul Gilbert and Bucket Head have entered the chat. Oh, right and Jeff Beck is in the house. Whoopsie here's Tommy Bolin.

Add Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, and let's not forget Jimi Hendrix.
