I’d assume even easier, being that the front brake can be removed for rinsing.
I’m wondering how much carbon the small rr can builds, my only complaint with the Magnus is that it’s so efficient I need to clean it more often to keep carbon out of my action.

That has not been my experience. I think the brake system they have works well compared to the other non-braked cans I have or have shot.
I don't have any to compare it to, I only own the omega and the ultra 9.
don't get me wrong I like the omega, first can and a pretty good one. but the recoil is definitely better(it's not drastic but noticeable) on an ultra 9 and I have no idea why. not to mention the sound isn't even close. omega is a slightly loud can for a 6 creedmoor
The RR design is not to be compared to the Omega (braked) as that is entirely not a fair comparison. The braked Omega is kinda shitty, to be honest.
The proper comparison would be the Area419 Maverick (which is spectacular) and straight brakes (Area419, MPA DN5, APA, etc).
Having said that, having shot the RR, it is very similar to the Maverick. For reference, I have thousands of rounds through the Maverick, having it cleaned several times by the folks of Area419.
Sure, but I guess what is the science between why the omega is shitty and the RR is tits? I am not saying the omega is great, just curious what differentiates it from the RR design wise. Does the RR allow more gas to pass through and let the brake go to work? Is the inside baffle design different than a normal suppressor? Is the brake on the RR more better designed to divert gas?
I would let @TBACRAY or @Zak Smith answer that but it's mainly due to the design of the brake. It's similar to shooting an Open Gun in USPSA, more gas = more efficient recoil.
SRS is making them now. Fairly good design also.

Which makes me wonder, why not make the new magnus with a modular baffle stack? where you have 2 or 3 baffle stacks in different lengths. That way we could use a shorter one at comps and add what we need for hunting or just for recreation. Seems like it would also streamline production a little as well

We've shipped quite a few. We did have a delay with the RR brake portions when our plater screwed up about half the ones we sent and they had to be remade/replated.Probably still on the assembly line

Ordered mine the first week of March. Just patiently waiting for my serial # to be assigned. Current time frame according to my order is later this month. Fingers crossed.

We'll gladly take a direct order. However, it is usually faster to get one from a dealer who either has it, or has it in their order queue (in that case get your "name on it").

I know I want a K-RR. The question is do I replace my full size with RR or is there true utility in having a small braked can and a large shush can rather than two braked cans. I do own a magnum, but primarily shoot short action cuz I’m a poor.

Had my Magnus-S HUB since late April, but still waiting on my Trust to be approved. Had I done individual, I'd have had it back in probably less than a week. But I prefer to use Single Shot Trusts, so 92 days and counting…

How do you like the S compared to the full size? I currently have the full size Magnus and the Cat JL, trying to decide if my next can will be a Magnus S/S-RR, the new Cat Dirty Dave, or go for a SiCO Scythe. I was wanting something lighter/shorter to throw on a hunting gun if I wanted since my JL has the military core (it's the same weight as the full size Magnus). Out of those listed, definitely get the Magnus-S. It's a great can. It's obviously not as quiet as my full-size Magnus, but it's impressive for its size, and sound quality & tone is excellent, just like the full-size Magnus. Get the Magnus-S, you'll be happy.
Yes, I ordered both of mine straight from TBAC, and had them sent to my dealer. Then I had my dealer and Silencer Shop input them into their system and assign them to my account, and then we started the paperwork with SS just like you would any other can you bought from them. The only extra work is on the dealer's end, when they have to assign the can to your account, whereas, if you bought it off the SS website, it would automatically assign it to your account. It's not a big deal at all.
My largest rifle is currently a 7prc, I'm not sure I would benefit from the RR on the Magnus-S anyway. Mostly shoot 6CM/GT-6.5PRC.Out of those listed, definitely get the Magnus-S. It's a great can. None of mine are RR, and they reduce recoil very well, even on magnum cartridges. I don't think you'd need an RR model, honestly. I'd just opt for the standard Magnus-S, but the RR part is up to you. To me, that's just more moving parts and something to go wrong or cause POI shift if a screws gets loose, or something like that.
I agree, I have been battling on the decision. Now it's on to find a Hub Magnus-S lol.

If you want really good suppression, great tone and recoil reduction, get the RR.

I was thoroughly impressed with my RR can this past weekend. The tone is fantastic and even on a 6.5CM rifle, you can really feel that brake working. I'd love to see what this can can do on a larger caliber but I only own 6.5 CM and .308 rifles right now.
