I don't think he's saying it does. He's asking if he'll get the chance to make hay while the sun shines.ATF has nothing to do with TBAC's manufacturing.
Well if he has a TBAC can on order, he can log in and see when the Serial number will be assigned. It gets updated every day, that's the most accurate and best estimate.I don't think he's saying it does. He's asking if he'll get the chance to make hay while the sun shines.
Didn’t know that updated daily, but now I do.Well if he has a TBAC can on order, he can log in and see when the Serial number will be assigned. It gets updated every day, that's the most accurate and best estimate.
Call or email Tbac, they will get you on the list. Distributors are still waiting for their orders that’s why you aren’t seeing them.So we can actually order direct from TBAC?
I can find anyone online doing preorders. I want to place an order for. Magnus K-RR CB and an S-RR CB.
Thanks!Call or email Tbac, they will get you on the list. Distributors are still waiting for their orders that’s why you aren’t seeing them.
I’m also curiousIs there any significant differnce between the Dominus CB and the new Magnus S CB
I feel that pain. Both of my RC2's were about 1-2 weeks off from getting approved when the RC3 announcement was made.Just great, right after my Gen 2 SR was approved. Now I think I'm going to need the Magnus S RR SR.
I use my updated 30P-1 on an 18" 6 Creed for coyotes and it was $800 well spent. You could always send that 30BA back to TBAC and let them update it... I think they're putting the Ultra Gen2 stacks in them, if I'm not mistaken... But I could be wrong. Then you'd have a modernized 30BA you could use, and not a gigantic paperweight.
I need a video of this... I'm debating on an OCL Lithium 9mm can, and now the Magnus-S or Magnus-K .375 for my MP5... I'd love to see a head-to-head video if yall have a Lithium to test against on an MP5 (standard Navy length barrel, not a K) with tri-lug and 147 subs. Also, the Magnus-HUB in 375 is the awesomest MP5/MP5K can ever. HUB so you can use the Trilug.
The factory 100º locking piece that came in it.What locking piece are you running with a suppressed MP5-N & 147 subs?
I second thisAny additional thought to a 6.5 version of the Magnus?
I asked @Zak Smith a while back about a 6.5mm version of the Magnus-S, but he said unless there was big demand for it, it probably would have to be a custom order. I wouldn't mind having a Magnus-S (non-RR) HUB 6.5mm in FDE for my 6.5mm (and under) rifles.Any additional thought to a 6.5 version of the Magnus?
Other way around for me. Bore mine out to .338 pls
I already own a Magnus thoughThe Magnus is available in .338, SR or BA mount. .375 is HUB mount only.
Magnus-S showed up today... I was able to swing by after work on my way home and snap a few pics of it... This is going to be a killer hunting can! The only issue we have now, is that the new Magnus-S (and other models, I assume) have not been put into the Silencer Shop system yet, to be able to start the paperwork. I'll get the dealer to call SS tomorrow and start working on that. Hopefully they can get it up and going quickly so I can get this thing certified ASAP, and test out this new ultra-quick approval times the ATF keeps boasting about... @Zak Smith yall got any contacts over at Silencer Shop you can talk to about getting these put in the system?

Well, these were pre-orders since this is a brand new model of suppressor...And we were told it was going to take 12-16 weeks before shipping, so we were aware of a long wait time during pre-order. But I assume that now that they are in full-swing production, it wouldn't be as long of a wait. @Zak Smith can give you a better idea of what the average lead time is on them. How long between order and delivery?
When you order, you are given a live status. So it changes daily. I was told June/July initially. Looks like I may get lucky next month... Magnus RR KHow long between order and delivery?
Some good looking cans. Still waiting on my Magnus SR to clear from Dec.Went and put the first shots through the new Magnus-S HUB today... Did some side-by-side video and photo comparisons with my full-size Magnus-HUB. I got plenty of footage for the next few months. I even shot some of my subsonic .308 Win handloads from my 16" MPR and my 210 RDF load from it. Mostly the comparisons were with my 20" 7mm-08 (shown below).

Thanks. Have you shot your full-size Magnus yet? If not, you're in for a treat...It's surprisingly quiet, especially on magnums, like .300WM. The guys at the range couldn't believe I was shooting my 700 5R .300WM it was so quiet. Some good looking cans. Still waiting on my Magnus SR to clear from Dec.
I’ve got an S RR 30 cal incoming at Mile High. I hope those get in sooner rather than later.Added an Ultra 338-RR to my order list.
Still waiting on the Magnus K RR, ball keeps getting pushed forward. Supposedly next week?
I was debating the S. But I guess I rather have both ends of the spectrum.I’ve got an S RR 30 cal incoming at Mile High. I hope those get in sooner rather than later.
I ordered a K version direct and was told maybe October , but have a Maverick in jail for PRS anyways that should be out soon. The S will go on my 7mm Sherman.I was debating the S. But I guess I rather have both ends of the spectrum.
Nice. Yea, I've shot the Maverick for a couple years, love it. I'm excited to try the K.I ordered a K version direct and was told maybe October , but have a Maverick in jail for PRS anyways that should be out soon. The S will go on my 7mm Sherman.
OD on those brakes all seem to be the same so far. I put my gen 1 338SR on my buddies rifle the other day who runs a Magnus SR and it was fine. Would triple check that but I ran into no problems with lock up and threadsCurrently have a TBAC GEN 2 338SR can that I swap across multiple platforms and barrels.
Considering fucking around with the new RR options coming online.
With that consideration comes a question:
1.) Given I have 338SR muzzle brakes on damn near all my AXMC barrels and other rifle setups, if I want to experience an RR option, should I (and/or) am I relegated to going with a 338RR-SR option?
or
2.) Can I grab a dedicated 30cal MAGNUS-RR-SR that would work on my existing setups (excluding the .338 barrels of course) and anything new I want to put on it?
