My good boy thought this was going to be a range trip and was very disappointed. Mk22 is hands down the most fun thing to shoot out of the bunch.

Not marked the same way AFAIK.Also is it available commercially?
Yeah mate;Anyone have info on the Badger Comm mount being used with the leupold mk5s? Assume it's the 0MOA 1.54 fde.
Also is it available commercially?
Lmao welcome to Badger Ordnance.Appreciate it! Now if only it was all instock.
My dial caliper indicates 1.25" major diameter, and it looks like 20 TPI.Whats the thread on the outside of the mk22 muzzle brakes?
What’s the MLOK extension for the “Stage saver” two round holder?Just installed the Rotapoint RMR mount for the NF Ultramount. Besides a MARS or MRF-Xe for a WMLRF, only see the AML338 on the horizon. TBAC 338 SR will live on the AXSR.

Custom barrel, or the factory 17 inch barrel?I’ve been tossing up the idea of a 308win shorty. 18-20” barrel, but not some pencil barrel or heavy flutted. I am wondering if sub 15lbs is reasonable with say a 4-32x NX8?
Pretty close. MRAD with 17” non-fluted factory .308 barrel, Barrett AM30 can, NF ATACR 5-25x56, Barrett scope rings, and TBAC bipod is a smidge over 16 lbs.I’ve been tossing up the idea of a 308win shorty. 18-20” barrel, but not some pencil barrel or heavy flutted. Fluted barrel or custom contour, NX8, lighter rings, and you should be right around 15 lbs, maybe a couple oz over.
I am using the SiCo Hybrid 46M on mine as well. I have 300 NM and 6.5 CM barrels. Also just got the NF ATACR 7-35 T3 in DE and Spuhr mount. Can’t wait to take it out to the range. With work, hurricanes, and subsequent cleanup I’ve got parts for projects all over the house. Finally got the ASR devices on the 308 and 338 Lapua barrels so I can use the SilencerCo Hybrid 46M.
I was just at the Barrett school and asked this question. The answer is, e190 Cerakote, a Cerakoted barrel and MK22 engraving on the side. They are made on the same mills and on the same assembly line with the same parts. Also, it’s only $300ish to Cerakote one the E190 color. Easy enough and a huge savingsHey guys, hoping for someone that can chime in. Wanting to build a Mk22 clone but don’t need the full kit as they’re sold. What differences separate the true mk22 from the mrad? I am aware of the cerakoted barrel and UID but are there any other small details in the markings or elsewhere? Thanks
Thank you! So is the MRAD FDE chassis a different shade than the MK22?I was just at the Barrett school and asked this question. Correct, I actually had one of my B&T’s cerakoted in E190 and that’s the color on the MK22. It is certainly a different shade than the standard FDE. I’ll see if I can take a photo of my 2 B&T’s side by side for reference for youThank you! So is the MRAD FDE chassis a different shade than the MK22?
Thanks for the information, I really appreciate it. Good photos and any commentary have been almost impossible to find so you've really helped me out. Being that I already have the NF P-VPS I think I'll have to go MRAD and get it cerakoted rather than grab one of the deployment kits.Correct, I actually had one of my B&T’s cerakoted in E190 and that’s the color on the MK22. Here you go. Top one is MK22 E190 color and the bottom is 50 shades of FDE. It’s just to compare colors as the standard FDE MRAD is far closer to the bottom one than the true MK22 colorThanks for the information, I really appreciate it. Where you gettin MRAD’s for that price? This was my napkin math a year or two ago. I went with a Mk22 single-barrel kit. Shook out to basically a $1,500 clone correct engraving on a $11,000 kit at the time, if you ignore the mil-spec details on the included scope and mount. Not sure what things look like today though but I haven't seen an MRAD under $6500 for a hot minute.

Euro Optic has them for $5600 all day! Check it outWhere you gettin MRAD’s for that price?
Plus good ol tax.Euro Optic has them for $5600 all day! Check it out
I just got one used on GB and I paid tax…… probably the 4th time tax was paid on that thing! IPlus good ol tax.
I think mine was $5,800 out the door from Euro Optic. I figure, the Pelican case, custom cut for the rifle, is $250-$300, so I convince myself that the MRAD was only $5,500. The fact that I can get a 6.5CM barrel for it, and have a 6.5CM MRAD for only $1500 is a strong seller for me. Paying a fair price for a good gun is better than paying a good price for a fair gun.
My issue here is that I have the NF P-VPS and only need the rifle. If I can find a used MK22 for around $7500 that would be ideal but as it is my best option might be to source an MRAD for $5200 and have it cerakoted. Not sure if this helps anyone make a dumb decision, but this was my napkin math a year or two ago. Reach out to @Short-bus at custom gun coatings. He does great work, see what he can do.My issue here is that I have the NF P-VPS and only need the rifle. On that note who is the best for re-finishing an MRAD to the proper MK22 shade of FDE? I imagine that's a decent job and I wouldn't want to trust my local guy.
Look up Make Ready Firearms on Instagram. He already did my B&T in E190 and it’s actually on the Cerakote website. He learned from the best in the industry, his work is impeccable and he’s a super cool guy to know in the gun world. I’m actually heading to his house in a bit to pick up a gun. I've already done one through Altus, and I have a big bottle of e-190 to use up.Reach out to @Short-bus at custom gun coatings. He does great work, see what he can do.

How much for the dog ???
Damn ... even if I traded him for my wife's obnoxious Portuguese Water Dog, and maybe a pistol of your choice from my pistol safe? Too good of an offer to pass up ... right? JUST kidding ... was still worth a try. He's the epitome of the best things in life being free! I adopted him out of a local shelter and couldn't ask for a better adventure buddy.
