Also works for: Boomer men when states they don't live in have gun laws haha
Do you know the difference between a constitutional right and a state law?
I haven't found where killing babies is constitutionally protected? If you know where it's at. Could you provide a link

is there a part 2?

Did they arrest the bicyclist for false imprisonment?

Cyclists who want to use the road should be required to register and get a tag for all their bikes.

Don't be a spandex-wearing road-raging peacock on a bike.

Both were cited after the Po-Po arrived. Because the cop didn’t see what happened, he had to take the word of both men.

Peacock admitted that he was wrong:

Part 3 will be court I guess.

“I did not know if he wanted my car, my wallet or my life. Fearing for the safety of my family and myself I fired two rounds in the direction of the threat.”
Would not be the best choice for us, even in a conservative county in Oregon...and we do have some decent use of force/self defense laws.

Problem would be going to court & the costs associated with such. In this example.

-aside from the morality of possibly killing someone unarmed & no true threat (to us). Even a douchebag...

Sure, may be legal & may not get convicted. In many places, would not be legal & would get convicted.

Didn’t he put hands on the kid…while acting in aa aggressive and threatening manner?

I think spandex touched the kid at some point, blocking his path of egress from the vehicle.

I know the TV shows call this "assault" when it happens to a alphabet agent but I'm not sure how much leeway the courts give to mere mortals in the same situation.

I think the kid handled it well. It's clear the blubbering spandex sack of shit was no real threat to anybody, causing him even more harm wouldn't help the situation. The way things played out I think the kid has the opportunity to press charges if he wants for harassment, assault and false report.

ETA: apologies @Camelfilter
For it to be a good shoot here in Texas there should be some clear threat to life or property and spandex was neither one.

It might have been OK to slap his touching hand away and respond accordingly to any follow up aggression but, also here in Texas, this could be viewed as unnecessary escalation if you're carrying.

Here are the Utah model jury instructions regarding use of force:

I don’t see anything authorizing deadly force in our scenario.
