Yeah, I don’t own any, but have fixed a few Kimbers for various friends and family members. They seem to be really hit or miss in the QC department; or at least they were. You might get a perfect one, or you might get a piece of shit that never shoots right.
I really like replacing stuff with WC parts. Probably better stuff out there now, but the WC stuff just flat works.
One more “1911” … OG STI Staccato-C single stack in 9mm, my third favorite pistol!
Was my primary carry gun, then truck gun for a while because it shoots so damn well, and easy. Tend to carry either a G19 or P320 with a lot more capacity, but a lot less style, these days with all the storm clouds on the horizon…
That single-stack Staccato is nice though, so smooth…and super easy to CCW:
