I loaded 32 rounds of N150 using the 567 disk per your recommendation(and per the instructions which I guess I should be reading)only 1 clicker and zero stoppages I was pretty happy to say the least because I found a great load for my GT with the 150 this morning.
Is the fancy dead drop any better than the Shot glass setup? I use a shot glass with mine and it works really well. Just trying to see if the $45 cup is worth it.
Been checking every day or two and this is fairly new. Up until a couple of days ago it still stated end of December for the early orders.

Yeah, it occurred to me the other night when I was explaining to somebody how these various powder dispensers work out in my garage, there really hasn’t been a technological advancement in terms of mechanism of dispensation in well over 50 years. Everybody is doing a gauged cylinder drop and a rotating tube of some sort.
The idea of a gravity drop that determines the mass by the amount of time exposed to gravity, and the idea of isolating, single kernels for top off is truly, ingenious.
That’s why we all are waiting with bated breath
But there’s always going to be a market for somebody who doesn’t reload enough to justify a $1000 system and will settle for something they can get for $400.
On the other hand, I’m not prepared to guess the used market for a V4 after this because if you look at, for example, the Garmin, you can now get a lab radar for well below half the cost, and I don’t think anyone in their right mind is going to try to save $300 out of their budget by making that compromise

Why is it ingenious? He basically stole Brand Coles design on the powder trickler and added it to a digital scale.
Can't speak to the bulk dump, but Paul got the single kernel design from the Prometheus, who likely derived it from a case feeder like the Dillon.

Which is really just a very common collator used all over manufacturing in general... so... nothing special and certainly nothing unique to the gun/shooting/reloading world...
I’m guessing none of you have ever seen how a two-row planter works. The idea is over a century old. The application to powder kernels is what’s cool, but it’s nowhere near a new idea.

See, that's where you went wrong. Never be an optimist, but especially on this thread. We're still on track for your original timeline, which was wonderfully pessimistic, and accurate so far, as I recall from the previous thread (I think that was you).
As for friendly fire, my last post wasn't intended to be "fire" at all. In fact, I wasn't responding to your post (I had forgotten you had mentioned the trickler design). It was more a friendly poke at @DairyDictator, who gave credit to Prometheus and Dillon, but I'm guessing probably does know how a two-row planter works if he is a dairyman as I envision from his username

Well, that's because you are running the wrong disk for N150. Do not say it doesn't work if you can't follow the instructions. You should be using 567 disk for N150. It's listed on the powder list.
The printing is not the problem. When it is new it is a little sticky and we cure it by a light dusting of baby powder, or you can use graphite or other bullet lube powders if you wish. I have had very good success with all testing just starting with the powder and after loading a little while the gun powder will coat also. it is possible that one slipped out to you and didn't get dusted. My apologies.
Did you read my other post or just come in and start running your mouth? I posted that I did not read the powder/disk chart and also posted that when I used the proper disk(567)as someone suggested it ran flawlessly.

Yes it is. Glad to see him here. I hope his new system is ready to ship soon, because my dumb a$$ dropped my surround set up for my v3+IP, and it broke into several pieces. Lucky for me, I have a solid choice of cyanoacrylate glue for such as this , so I did glue it back together and it does hold my dropper and and work. However, being the Gucci loader that I shamelessly am, it's kind of hard for me to look at that glued back together mess.
I'm resisting the urge to get a new one since , hopefully the Gucci of Gucci systems is right around the corner, but it's KILLING ME YALL!
I mean, to be fair, Paul came on a little hot, but still, after the threads about the Trickler on here, I can't blame him at all for staying away...

I got that worked out and been running pretty much flawlessly until I got this N150 but with the 567 it’s been money…
I found a new unused V3 in the PX and ordered the cups that @NiteQwill posted and I almost like reloading again lol.
When I get back (at the inlaws now, believe me, as soon as I can, I will be out of here), I will take some pics and post em. It broke pretty much along the seams and I could have done a cleaner job if gluing it back. When it breaks into 5 or 6 pieces, there's not a lot of point to trying to be seamless. It's just gonna have to limp along until the new machine is ready I suppose.
As promised. I will now put kids to bed....so I can do the annual gift construction of 1- bicycle , one basketball goal (kids), and one boxing bag and get it upstairs for Santa.....
This Santa fella owes me a hell of a lot of over time, I know that.....

Thank you sir, and that's a bummer you broke your draft shield. Hopefully Paul is close now but honestly since I got this V3 I am perfectly happy with how its working. I load on a Dillon 750 and with the V4 I'd find myself waiting for a charge to finish trickling up to dump into the next case just about every time. Adding the IP trickler to the V4 helped but I was still waiting a few times through a session for a charge to finish up.
I know a few seconds is really no big deal but as I've said many times "I do not like reloading" its a necessary evil for what we do so anyway I can reduce that time and/or make it more efficient I am all about it. Since I've started running the V3/IP combo and got the slider set the system has been money.
I hand feed bullets when loading(my way of checking powder)and after getting the system set up I have yet to wait for a charge.
By the time I seat a bullet lower and raise the handle again the next charge is ready to dump and with the addition of the powder cups @NiteQwill shared(thanks again cups are F'n awesome)!! loading has been a little less of a task.
Just a couple of weeks ago I added a line/power conditioner to my set up, the thing I have noticed is it seems/sounds to run more consistent/smoother and just a bit faster maybe.
Anyway like everyone else, I can't wait to get my hands on complete IP system....Paul AKA @Ingenuity1 really is a good dude, I have spoke with him several times and he is one of those guys that demands perfection from his product which IMHO is a good thing...I mean even with all the bitching we do(me included)do we REALLY want him(or anyone)to release a halfass'd product? Personally I'd rather wait(and bitch about the wait)for an as close to perfect product as he can get.
Yeah, the v3+IP works extremely well. The new system is just nicer to run and you can save settings so that will be very nice.
I too have spoken with Paul on several occasions. He's definitely a detailed oriented guy, which is why his stuff works. No, I don't want some expensive headache , which is basically what the other powder systems are. None of us who have this expensive stuff to achieve exact and consistent loads are ok with "pretty good", so getting it right just takes what it takes. Hopefully that will be sooner than later. Paul has basically made new versions of not only the dropper set up, but every other piece too. From the draft shield, to the cup, to the electronics, and the dropper itself, he's made all new products. It's not A new product, it's many new products. That's why it's taking so long. There's little things that only time and use reveals for each one of those products and if a potential issue comes to light, Paul then fixes that issue on that product. So, it's just gonna take some time. When it's done, it will be right and actually work like it's supposed to, which all other set ups have failed at.
I'm finally getting hopeful. I think, based on or despite my previously pessimistic estimates, that we're getting close. I'm loading primer tubes and mass prepping brass. Cleaning, annealing, trimming, sizing, priming - thousands of cases. When this thing hits the doorsteps, I'm going to charge cases for weeks on end in complete blissful oblivion!

Merry Christmas, I have just been dropping powder and trickling. That said I will take one when the opportunity arises. Really looking forward to an automated solution!
I used my dead drop cup yesterday for the first time. Loaded 90 cases with 60gn of N165, found 2 kernels on the platen after I was done. This is with the offset area 419 “straw” on the V3. Maybe it’s getting better using the original one?
With the area 419 cup it’s definitely more.
A question I’ve, I use the V3 with ingenuity trickler for quite some time now and don’t experience any issues.
How about the max 122 Gramm max on the FX 120i sticker? Never paid attention to it before. The area 419 platen and cup are almost 150g and with the dead drop cup slightly more.

Yep, they sure do advertise that 122 gm is max capacity for the 120i
I note that Paul is selling the 300i with is powder drop system (or at least will be when it ships) and the only diff supposedly is the max capacity with the 300i going to 320 gm...11.5 ounces.
