One of the biggest turnoffs is when people tell you all about their 'AKC' registered, papered, pure bred, and insist on telling you how much they paid. There isn't a single club/org of any size that has a handle on dog lineage and such- it's all smoke and mirrors.

Me, I've had five dogs, three of which were pure breds- but two of those three were rescued Siberian Huskies.
