For 4 years I have been persecuted and betrayed by my government, and I watched him stop it.
I was there in Afghanistan when we left. I lost friends in that war. The withdrawal was a shit show and a disgrace.
I refused the jab and was fired illegally for a year and a half from my profession.
While I was fired, I was labeled a "domestic terrorist" and a "maga extremist" just for believing in my country's values.
I had the ATF trying to tell me that if I didn't surrender braces or triggers or whatever the fuck else they would put me in prison for 10 years.
And then I watched the only president I have ever voted for take time out of his inauguration day to sign orders protecting me and all the rest of us.

Me too, and yes it very much was. A strong president I argued with my wife would have made a clear statement along the lines of "look we're leaving, let us do it peacefully, otherwise there may not be anything alive for miles if you attack our men".
The problem, is.... that response may be exactly what they want. Regardless, it was handled so poorly I feel the fact that no one is either in jail for criminal negligence or whose career is in shambled, publicly humiliated via televised public apologies is in it's self a crime of sorts.
