I wanted to give you some honest credit- you dug in like a tick and have been hanging in there despite being piled on.
I won't personally give you crap, I've been where you're presently at a number of times, and I said it then and stick to it- I find the piling on approach to be distasteful and one of which I don't care to be a part of.
That said- and you do you of course, but what I've learned since I found myself doing what you're doing is, eventually you hit a point where you're spinning your own wheels while everyone else is jumping on ya for their own personal entertainment.
I'll say this- nobody cares. You can't "win", and that's not a personal remark, it's just the internet being what it is. It's not exclusive to you either, nobody 'wins' you just can express your opinion and others can do the same but at the end of the day, we're all just adding to 1's & 0's on a server as we argue amongst ourselves (really).
The best advice I ever personally received here in the Pit while I was trying to fight off the hordes of flying monkeys and make a stand that they don't get to "gate keep" contrary opinions on a discussion board and nobody elected them mayors of the Pit- was essentially "why don't you just ignore them and continue to talk to the rest of us".
Such a simplistic observation but one in which I (personally) lost all sight of and surprise, surprise- they were 100% right. The shit of it is, I don't even remember 'who' said that to me, I just remember what was said. There's always the 'ignore' feature available to you here if that'd help you but I've got to tell you- your experience/participation here is likely to be better if you also have the same epiphany that I did and find a way to continue talking to like minded folks here and shutting out the other noises thrown at you.
Anywho- that's my two cents. Do with it as you will- I don't personally think you're going to gain any ground here on this particular discussion (again trying to keep my own thoughts out of it/not add to the crap thrown your way) but I hope you find a way to share your opinions on other threads and look forward to having discussions/healthy debates with you elsewhere.

I asked a question. You learn about people by asking questions about themselves.
It's not just you- in a lot of ways it's "a pit thing". There is a small group here that are man-children, people likely well over 50 that still continue to act like high school bullies and haven't moved past that mindset.
There's another group that either has them on 'ignore' or are able to just disregard them completely (more power to them).
Then there's the third, smallest group (that's where I seem to find myself) that finds their behavior to be detrimental to this entire community, representative of a 'failure to launch' and have not qualms on pointing out to them that they're being dickheads for the sake of being nothing more than dickheads and outside of the internet wouldn't even fathom talking to someone here even remotely how they conduct themselves behind a keyboard.
