Inauguration of DJT

Not sure what the second half means, but I literally came to the Hide to ask a technical question in one of the other forums.

I popped down into this subforum because I was fascinated by the number of America-hating Communists here... just openly talking bad about their country and spewing Communist propaganda about, "Russia didn't invade (fill in Georgia, Ukraine-2014, Ukraine-2022), it's all our fault," please give our adversaries space to exercise their will against us, blah blah.

I made a few comments in that Ukraine thread and inexplicably, MAOISTS poped up making non-sequitur remarks about... I shit you not... that the Uighur camps were fake, US can't compete with Red China, Red China isn't our enemy- our neighbors are... etc.

It's super fascinating to me.

? Well I’m new to most of you but China is definitely not our friend…. So there’s that.
The whole thread is gone now- perhaps they really were ChinaBots- but it was wacky and weird stuff... and had nothing to do with what we were talking about.

That being said, it's REALLY, REALLY INTERESTING that guys who can't form sentences in English or punctuate them properly (who I believe to be genuine residents of the United States) can at least try to articulate half-an-argument from Foundations of Geopolitics (poorly).

It's clear that they never studied in school, haven't read Dugin (and don't actually read books), don't watch the real news, hate their country on the federal level- but also their neighbor at the local level... but they've somehow absorbed and memorized these lines of argument that don't make any logical sense.

How is this getting into their heads and rotting them out? Are they getting PAO talking points from the Kremlin and Red China? DO they have a subscription to Pravda?

In WWII, even when we were fighting with the Rooskies, someone who talks bad about America or recites this Commie Crap would get their ass kicked... and when you point it out to them, they call you a Commie... and when you say, "Sorry, I'm definitely not your Komrade" they claim to be against Communism.

It's WILD, and makes NO SENSE.

Anyone tell some of these retards that we’re a Republic & not a democracy?
It’s always a dead giveaway of who actually studied the US form of government.

Not only are we NOT a democracy, but the Founders built safeguards and roadblocks into every branch of government to protect it from democracy.

Executive Branch:

Electoral college elects the President, comprised of State electors who are chosen at State caucuses. State caucuses are formed from county precincts, where neighbors elect their delegates for both County and State-level.

Legislative Branch:

A. Senate. Senators are supposed to be appointed by the States, but that was amended with the 17th Amendment. Now they are voted for by State delegates, who again are elected at the County and Neighborhood precincts.

B. House. Congressional district Representatives are voted on by State delegates to see who will go to the primaries. Those candidates appear on the General election ballot for all to vote on in those Congressional districts.

Judicial Branch:

Justices are nominated by the Chief Executive, then have to go through an approval process in the Senate for confirmation.

There is no direct democratic process of mobocracy, and the Founders understood why this is critical for a stable government, having watched so many civilizations fail in their studies of history.

Of course the tyrants and power-hungry psychopaths found ways to subvert this, especially with Organized crime, the Progressive Era, Prohibition, and the evolution of the surveillance state with its rapid expansion of unconstitutional agencies and secret police powers to keep all 3 branches in-check.

To be fair, there's probably a better way to handle that.... than sending up a $$$$ jet to a potential SIGINT probe and firing a AIM9X at it....

Not sure what that solution would be, but I hear we have some new fairly powerful vehicle born lasers..... maybe converge a few on it if need be.

in america, it is our right to criticize our government. brave men fought for those rights, and more have died defending them.

Memes are the modern version of the town hall "broadsides" of the 1700s-1800s. Broadsides were one sheet newsletters, often accompanied by a humorous cartoon either praising or lampooning the political subject or official that the particular day's broadside was addressing. They were usually kept in a large wooden box at the front of a town hall building for all passerby to take and pass around. They were also spread around the town by volunteers, usually young boys, who tacked copies along the outside walls of shops and public buildings and distributed them in taverns to the patrons. In order to convey an entire message and sentiment using the fewest possible text, broadsides delivered the point instantly, with humor and sometimes very raunchy humor, and they were the main source of news for the most able bodied population of men who were armed and capable of leading a revolution or a local defense force - dockworkers, butchers, warehouse workers, carpenters, etc. They were often in a hurry thoughout their day, eating quickly and going to work before retiring to the tavern at the end of the day, and for them, having the time to sit down and read a long newspaper was not a luxury they were able to enjoy.

It was broadsides distributed along taverns at the waterfront of Boston and all over other towns along the Massachusetts coast that formented the idea for revolution against the Crown. In the years leading up to the Boston Massacre, the Intolerable Acts, and ultimately the showdown at Lexington and Concord, King George III actively had royal agents conduct surprise raids and unannounced searches on broadside printing houses to intimidate anyone who wanted to publish material critical of the Crown. In turn, eavesdroppers hiding under the window ledges of royal precinct commanderies and listening in on meetings going on inside would pick up intelligence on raids that were going to be conducted, and would quickly alert the printing houses who would pack up their equipment and relocate before the royal agents arrived. They continued printing and distributing right through the war and were crucial in maintaining public morale during the hardest years of the struggle.

Memes helped win a war.

LOL- and the member who liked your comment is the same drama queen that has memes and cartoons for anyone who calls out the America-hating Commies on this sub.

(Which- I agree with his original position in support of 1A, before he flopped)
Ever feel like you don't fit in? I mean your intellect is on another level from those here. That should make you feel out of place but for some reason it hasn't.
