I have tried this using someone else's AT that was so equipped. It sucked for several reasons. You can quickly adjust a bag using hand pressure, but not so much with the monopod. It does not adjust quickly, and the range of possible adjustments is limited. I'm glad I got to try it before I cut my skins.
As said. Use the Monopod as a bag rider. You only deploy it in emergencies. And there's ways to use the Monopod for quick adjustment... You don't fully extend it. There's a nice video on how this is done:
Oh, I know, I just meant if you don’t like the monopod you can’t go back to stock unless you have extra skins (I do). I was just mentioning that for the audience who might not know what is entailed.

I bought my 308 bolt probably 4 months before I even bought my AXSR. I think they were only in stock for a couple days when I was able to order mine. The struggle is real.
I've never seen one used at a match, but I don't see a lot of ATs at matches, either. To each their own. Another member here already has a product like yours, but it's metal. The concept is excellent. This is how I do it on my AT.
I bought all of the LH bolts and a spare LH shroud/firing pin assembly a year ago. Still don't have the rifle LOL

Oh I got contingency plans. First option is scope caps. Worst case I remove some of the folder hardware; the locking mechanism. Also could swap the claws for rubber feet. Finally ditch the suppressor cover.
