Picked this up last year .. what an incredible machine!!
Have a 2001 Ducati 748R and had a 2017 BMW R1200RS. The Duc is an incredible machine with no rider assists, raw and connected. It's a bit too grumpy and ornery for the street, it really needs to be ridden hard on a track.
The BMW was comfortable, easy to ride, traction control, ABS, heated grips. Gobs of torque, fast and smooth.
A boomer in a Lexus put a fast stop to my riding. Stay safe out there and wear a high quality helmet.

Man I want a Hypermotard in the worst way . It's a niche/Supermoto but . I'd love to experience all that power in such a light bike .

But on the motorcycle theme, one day when I decided to take it a little easier I would like to get a BMW R1200GSA to bomb around the woods.
now and then i ride the 14SGS when i ride solo, the trike when riding with my wife. Don't know how much longer for the 14, i've noticed a loss in strength as i've gotten older and i worry about my balance a little, so don't know how much longer i'll ride it. The front fairing on the trike i had a fella in CO air brush it a couple years ago with an eagle and 2nd amendment Came out great. I also have an 07 Softtail, that my son rides

The old ones are extremely hard to find parts for. It's kinda refreshing to be able to find and order new plastics or a pipe in 3 minutes.

One thing I love are motorcycles! I want one of everything! But I’m poor with kids so I only have a couple.
My all time favorite here is the ZRX 1100 with a stage 2 carb kit and pod filters and full muzzy race pipe. I have the Yoshimura cams for the swap but haven’t installed them yet. It’s ~140hp now I would guess. I still want to do the 6 speed transmission swap and look at a big bore kit. If I could get it near 180hp, I could humble a lot of squids on thier new shit lol.

Then my old school dirt toys.

Japan lost the off-road market about 20 years ago.
With the different options from KTM/Husky/Gas Gas, Sherco, Beta, and Reiju I wouldn't even look at the Japanese bikes.
I did consider building a yz250x. After bringing it up to par with the Husky I'd have spent about $2k more than just buying the Husky.
Yeah...I get it...but I've always been a Big Four guy. The new KTM 390 Enduro R and Adventure R have my interest........It's a lot of bike for the money. Can this new India (Bajaj) produced bike be the savior of KTM? Will it be reliable? I dunno. Nobody knows. I've strongly considered building a street legal WR250F but as soon as I do that they'll bring something out next year.
You could always grab a 2025 WR450F, install a few trinkets, get it inspected and make it street-legal.

Too much lol stock my last one did 155, so 170 tops? That’s a lot of wind resistance without bodywork lol
Like you, I cropped the fender below the license plate on the ZRX and removed the spacers on the turn signals which tucked them in and cleans up the bike a little.
