I’ve been saying a couple things for well over a decade. 1) we have plenty of money. Most of the money being spent is being funneled into pockets all over the place. You can argue whether it was to off the books Ops, into the politicians and their friends pockets and a litany of other things. However, it’s been clear that the money is going out to interests that have no benefit for America and it’s people for quite some time.

2) we more or less pay the rest of the world and have to some degree for a long time. So not only are the hardworking people of America paying for more than half of its people that are not working/contributing, but you are paying for people all over the globe as well + the bullshit like Chelsea’s wedding. This crap must end. It’s gone on for far too long and is draining the taxpayer dry. This isn’t the way I envisioned ending but all that matters is that it does and we get back to some semblance of running on good morals. However, I still hold that in order for this to work, not only does their have to be prosecutions, they must be so severe that they never happen again. And for those that have already fled to their safe havens in other countries, well I’d make sure some off the books activity brought those people here to face trial at a minimum.

With all that said, even DOGE might be compromised. So I hope they are super careful in keeping watch.

Oh and let’s kill the taxes for a few years while this all gets sorted!

He might be Canadian/Aus/NZ. Those folks are often reflexive brainwashed communists.
You've got enough of your own fuckwits to not need ours.

None of the bullshit the US govt has been doing - that this thread is about, is the work of Aussie's, Kiwis or snow Mexicans.

This is all yours.

Gold has been returning to our nation (estados unidos). Unlike what the lying legacy MSM says, it has nothing to do with Trump's tarriffs and the gold is not is going into the Treasury. Rather, it's people (individual rich or banks) who buy gold contracts and instead of settling the contracts in paper, they are demanding delivery of physical metal on the contract. Hence the LBMA and Swiss refinery have been shipping gold in record numbers to our shores.

Just checked USA Debt Clock linky and the ratio of paper gold to physical metal is now 128:1. That potentially means that gold is undervalued a lot! Silver is even worse at 378:1.

If you guys weren't cognizant of it, there has been no free market price discovery for metals for decades and suppression is part of the preception management to delude the public into believing that the Federal Reserve Note (that something that comes from nothing or the ether) has value and metals do not. This (paper sales to control prices) was learned from the British. Remember when oil was sub-zero? Futures/paper sales. I can at least beat a burglar/armed robber/kidnapper to death with a shiny rock but I couldn't do the same with non-tangible electronic asset.

I'm still waiting for my yearly rebate check from Costco. It won't buy as much as it once could. Think the price of sacred scroll (toilet paper) which used to be $14 a pack, oatmeal that was $4.89 for one of those big boxes, bread (entemann/orowheat) for about $4 for two loaves. The only thing that hasn't changed is the rostisseire chicken ($4.99) and dogs ($1.50 but the quality of dogs has gone done since they switched brands - and there's no more saurkraut/onions/relish). Used to buy a dog for my dog when she was still alive.

Remember, inflation is not that fancy-smancy complicated stuff the ivory tower professors explain and their models (absent the Austrian school) suck. It's simply an expansion of the monetary (actually currrency) supply without a corresponding increase in either goods or services. The more "money" (actually currency) they reate, there is a devaluation of the pre-existing currency. The winners are those closest to the money spigot (cantillon effect)

You just read proof they need more time pondering on the lessons of Hay-Seuss. Employment is clearly an obstruction toward that goal so discharging them from the dreg of civil service is the solution. It'll afford them more time to meditate over it.

"Sex" change if desired happens naturally with reincarnation. Don't want to be a ______? Expire and return as a _______. God provides a way!;)

We pay for these disturbed people to sit at work and discuss that sh*t on the job?

I'm sure this was brought up earlier but my internet is on a drunken binge and mobile data is also slow.

I wish the feds would get thier nany system working better so things speed up.

Anyway back on track .
So a handful of people quit and the retarded media tries to make it look like DOGE team is crumbling. Lol

Those people were allready found out and on thier way out.

Get a grip losers.

In light of all of the DODGE hub bub......

Fiscal year is October 1 -> September 30 // budgets are set year in advance

Can a president refuse to spend funds approved by Congress?

Congress passed the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 in response to the controversy. Title X in the act is commonly referred to as the Impoundment Control Act (or ICA), and it requires the president to report to Congress when he impounds funds as a deferment (or a temporary delay) or a recission (a permanent cancellation) of spending.

Under the ICA, spending deferrals must not extend beyond the current fiscal year, and Congress can override deferrals using an expedited process. For recissions, the president must propose such actions to Congress for approval, and he can delay spending-related to recissions for 45 days. Unless Congress approves the recission request, the funds must be released for spending.

The Supreme Court considered the impoundment question in Train v. City of New York (1975) after the ICA was passed. The city sued after it did not receive funds allocated to it under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments. President Nixon had vetoed the bill, but Congress overrode the veto. Nixon then reduced program spending. In his unanimous opinion, Justice Byron White wrote that “the sole issue before us is whether the 1972 Act permits the Administrator to allot to the States under § 205(a) less than the entire amounts authorized to be appropriated by § 207. We hold that the Act does not permit such action, and affirm the Court of Appeals.”

Current Appropriations and Budget proposals

House verision was introduced in June of 2024 - no co-sponsor / went to committee / no actions taken / no amendments / see Title IV section 403 - weak language regarding improper payments (laughable). Net net - @ an $8T increase to the debt at the end of 47's term.

Senate version is driving the bus. Much bullshit throughout. Net net - @ $8T increase in the debt at the end of 47's term.

??? so it looks like the pres has to spend the money congress approve? looks like another corrupt congressional support for their deep state loves. another swipe at Nixon? am i seeing this right? if so it seems to disarm Trump and DOGE. getting congress to remove that obstacle doesn't look doable with what sits in it.

I am not an expert - but what I take from it all is: Congress has the power of the purse and that has been adjudicated and upheld. Once appropriated, POTUS can impound or rescind the spending, but Congress gets an opportunity to override.

FYI there are still billions of COVID funds out there that look like they will get spent (wastefully).

Like many things 45 / 47 does - sometimes it is hard to distinguish hype and bullshit from final answer / action on any particular matter.

The way the media (and 45 / 47 + Musk) treat the subject of DODGE and wasteful spending - once they uncover it, it is taken care of.....doesn't look like it is quite that simple.
