I have said ADD/ADHD was caused by the medicine. My stepdaughter "had" ADHD until I introduced her to tough love. She kept acting up while attending a high dollar private school, latest designer clothing and shoes, she came home one day after a episode and found her door missing, no carpet, no bed or dresser, no in fashion clothing, no VS or Pink. She had rustler jeans, knockoff Chuck Taylor's and white t-shirts and value priced Walmart under garments. I took her out of private school and put her in public school. She rebelled and got herself some old fashion leather belt attitude adjustment, took her about 6 weeks of shame to figure out she was the problem. Counselor wanted to put her immediately in a 504 program, I told the counselor she doesn't have a problem with understanding, she has an attitude problem. Once she figured out she had to earn her privileges, she turned her life around and applied herself.
Amazing what a little accountability does for a youth.
i believe a big part of the problem is that "parents" are all to happy to agree that the child needs drugs instead of better parenting.
"oh, my child is a spoiled fucking brat because they need your drugs? OK!"
it's actually closer to $30k per actual tax payer since over 40% of filers pay no net federal income taxes.
Too bad he wasn't a little better shot...........we could have buried the entire problem.........

Pretty fucking ballsy and low to attempt to very publicly dress down the US President, get thrown out on your ear, leave DC, then stop in the UK on your way back and pick up your loot. He had the UK Bag Drop planned well before he ever touched down in the US. And, fucking starmer just shivved the US. That "loan" was an outright betrayal of the US by zelensky and starmer. Can't wait to see all the pro ukies here in the US have that fact go right over their heads.
At this point, I actually think we SHOULD send US Troops to Ukraine. First orders of business are to find zelensky, feed him to the fishes, then call Vlad and tell him to get his ass/army into Kiev to meet up with our Boys so Ukraine can be jointly annexed and split up between the US and Russia.
Either that, or Trump ought to cut off every last cent of aid to ukraine, call Vlad and say "Game on Dude, we'll be watching from the sidelines, punish zelensky for us. You have a free hand to do whatever you want".

After I returned from South East Asia in 1970, I went back to university, finished my degree, and then found out because of "Affirmative Action", my white privilege wasn't going to me a job.
I spent years in the trades, turned in a time card everyday!
Later, my employees turned in a time card to me.
I have no regrets..... but don't whine to me, because you have to account for your working day.

the responses are obvious. the reason my father (ex ww2 POW) hated the dutch really more than the japs. they were trying to steam out thru Java sea and needed fuel that was available in Dutch territory. they refused to give it up. the Huston capt lowered the 8" guns on the town and asked again. they got the fuel. got sunk later. this while operating in def of the dutch indies. this is 1 of the stories he told me that he saw or participated in personally which did not get put in any of the several books about the Huston. i have no reason to think he made these stories up.i wonder if we can boycott them. i don't know the options...if any.

I am reading(listening) to a book series right now. Based on a ship during WW2 that was de-assing areas around the Java Sea, and was caught in a green squall that transported them to an alternate earth. Very good read.
It is called Destroyermen by Taylor Anderson.
I reccomend it.
that is kinda what happened to the Huston. trying to get away from the Jap freight train of an invasion in Java and ran into the invasion fleet in the dark. they got trashed.
You would probably like the series. Anderson was a history professor and he is a weapon enthusiast, so his references and details are refreshingly accurate.
Europe is quickly becoming totally irrelevant. It’s a last vestige of trying to show some “power.”
