    BallisticsARC weather

Just heard back and the blue as it is currently will be compatible with BallisticsARC in the future. They can’t guarantee that any new ones that weatherflow comes out with (other than the precision shooting one), will be compatible.

    BallisticsARC weather

Thanks for the info! I just emailed Geoballistics asking about their support for the blue one in the future, so, I’ll report back with anything useful.

    BallisticsARC weather

Does anybody know if the blue weather flow meter and the tan one for “precision shooting” are actually the same thing? I heard somewhere that they’re actually the same thing in different colors. If they are, I’m just going to pick up the blue to use with BallisticsARC. Aside from being cheap...

Ok all, best budget laser range finder?

Gotcha, ok thanks for the insight! I notice the 1250 does not have illuminated reticle either.

Ok all, best budget laser range finder?

What about the Sig 1250? I rarely need to range farther than that, and it comes in a tad cheaper.

Edit: forgot to mention that I have a nightforce with a 56mm objective.

Ring Height! CADEX Competition Chasis, 20MOA NF 52mm Obj.

I have the field comp chassis, the Cadex tall 20 moa base and some leopolds that are just under 1”. This works, but it’s hard to get the bikini caps on. Also, I’m having trouble with eye relief, so........ I’m gonna trade out for some rings that are at least 1.25” tall.

Advanced Marksmanship Please school me on QUICK wind reading (match skillz)

Thank you for the great responses! I really do appreciate it. This is going to help a lot getting up there getting ready to shoot, especially when I’m first out of the gate. It’s enlightening to see how others approach this sort of thing. I’ve read countless articles on wind reading and I can’t...

Advanced Marksmanship Please school me on QUICK wind reading (match skillz)

Ok, so, I just had a match today and got my lunch eaten by the wind. I’m a pretty good wind reader, but I’m used to high power matches where I can lay there on a scope and get a good read and then fire a shot. Now, in PRS style matches, I have no time to do that, it’s just “you have 90 seconds...

Ok all, best budget laser range finder?

Reviews on that do sound pretty tempting.... anybody here with experience with it?

Ok all, best budget laser range finder?

I’ve got about $400 MAX burning a hole in my pocket and NO rangefinder! I’m going to be using his guy for precision matches so I’ll need it to go out to 1,300 yards at least. I was looking at the Vortex Rangers, but, it sounds like not a lot of people like those...... what’s the best I can...

MPA Enhanced Verticle Grip fits Cadex....... just be careful.

Went to Walmart and none there, so I’ll try the Home Depot. Do you need a release agent for the chassis side?

MPA Enhanced Verticle Grip fits Cadex....... just be careful.

Thanks for the tip! A quick google search says it sets to a rubber-like texture (still bendable). Is that your experience? I’m going for something rigid so as to support any accidental torque applied to the handle (I don’t plan on regularly apply any large pressure to the grip).

MPA Enhanced Verticle Grip fits Cadex....... just be careful.

As the title suggests, I modified the MPA handle for the Cadex by sanding the JUNK out of it. Only, I went too far. So, there is a collar at the top of the grip (referring to the hand part, not the finger part), that pertrudes and keeps it from fitting, so you have to remove it. And, if you look...

Anybody modified their ACIS 10 rd mags?

Good question, I’ll check when I get home. Pretty fine grit....... not ultra fine, though.

Anybody modified their ACIS 10 rd mags?

Mine feed extremely hard out of the box (accurate mag). I have tried sanding them down inside the lips and also used the MPA tool to bend the lips out to the recommended width. Now, what I’m going to try next is to cut a coil off of the mag spring. Has anyone done that? Theoretically it will...
