    RCBS Summit Press

Well I'd love too but the wife wouldn't like that too much. Nice set up.

    RCBS Summit Press

The K&M one works fine even on the sorter cases, you just have to watch and make sure you don't screw the expander down to far because there is a tapered ring on the top of the expander and it will push the die slightly out of position and you will end up messing up a case. They work fine in the...

    223 version of the RPR

I did I settled in on 23.9 grains of XBR 8208 seated at . 2.465. Fired 20 rounds across the crono and got an average of 2787 with an SD of 10.8 for 19 rounds, crono didn't pick one up. Accuracy was very good all 5 round groups were in the .3's. Very happy with the results.

Lapua 6.5 CM brass decapping pin ???

The Redding decapping die comes with the small pin and works like a champ.

Yes you can but on short cases like the 223 the way the exapander body is shaped it's hard to get it screwed down far enough on the coax.

    Range Report OCW results

Wasn't looking for smallest group but most forgiving load, that rifle shoots about anything you can stuff in it like that. I did shoot those with a chronograph and 40.9 and 41.2 showed only 2/3 ES and 1.3/2 SD's compared to 40.3 and 40.6 which were in the teens but being only 3 rounds each I...

    Range Report OCW results

Well I'm use to seeing a little more movement and than that but you are definitely right on the remaining three. When I ran a pressure test those were the only loads that were in the velocity range I was looking for anything less was to slow. I broke it down into .3 because of the charge range I...

    Range Report OCW results

Ok OCW experts, I need some help with this one. There is almost a full grain between these 4 loads and very very little change in POI. The high shot on 40.9 was called high and was straight up shooter error.

    RCBS Summit Press

I have one and have not had the problems mentioned above. The only problem I have is on larger cases it has a little flex and creates inconsistent shoulder bump. Go with the coax and never look back, it will work just fine with the lee collect dies and not having to keep up with shell holders is...

    Headspace all over the place

Your making a bigger deal out of the die changes than it really is, a Forster Coax literally takes 2 seconds to change probably faster than your turret press, or any other single stage press with the hornady lock n load insert probably takes less than 10 seconds to swap out dies. I agree having...

    223 version of the RPR

I played around with the 80 eld's and XBR 8208 the other day. I ran an ocw test from 23.6 to 24.6 gr. Had a node between 23.8 and 24.0 then another one starting to form at 24.6 but didn't want to push it any harder cause I was starting to getting flattened primers. Accuracy was excellent with...

Are you running a 223 version? I know the larger calibers come with pmags which do have a bolt stop but the 223 version doesn't

    The Evolution of Barrel Cleaning

Ive tried many different cleaning procedures as well as countless different products over the years. I'm a big fan of the KG products and currently use the, with that said I'm always open to suggestions and change. I'm intrigued by this CLR idea and the VFG pellets (never heard of them til now)...
