Rifle Scopes Reticle "shift" when adjusting magnification

Thanks I plan on contacting them first thing in the morning

Rifle Scopes Reticle "shift" when adjusting magnification

I haven’t had this scope long, and have just now noticed the shift. I will test it at range and If there is no POI shift then I will likely just deal with it, but if there is any POI shift then it will be going to Nightforce to be corrected. As much as high end optics cost these days I refuse...

Rifle Scopes Reticle "shift" when adjusting magnification

Thanks for the reply, I haven’t noticed any ill effects either and just noticed the shift so I probably won’t worry about it. Just annoying paying that kind of money for optics that shouldn’t do that.

Rifle Scopes Reticle "shift" when adjusting magnification

I know this is an old thread but I have the same scope ATACR with Mil C reticle. It’s doing the same thing. I hadn’t noticed until today while mounting it on a different rifle and I was inside. Did Nightforce ever get yours fixed or did it ever cause and POI issues?

    Single Stage Trigger

The hyperfire triggers work very well for a single stage trigger and will get down below 3.5 pounds

Looking for the most accurate 18" 223 Wylde chambered barrel.

I had a Shilen ultra match on a 6mmDTI AR one time that about 2k rounds through it when I sold it and it still hammered like new.

    AMP Upgrade

Very likely true. I run a bench source now and am happy with it. This AMP would have been my first choice if I didn’t already have the bench source now that they have the ability to calibrate themselves

    AMP Upgrade

Makes forking out the cash for the AMP seem more tempting now.

A&D FX120i labscale reloading upgrade with V2 auto trickler review.

I have a satorious 64 and it does drift a bit during the first few minutes of having it. I want to try what you suggested about leaving the calibration weight on the scale when not in use. I got a couple questions 1. Did they recommend leaving the scale on or in sleep mode? 2. If let on should...

    130gr RDF Data?

Tested the 130’s over the weekend with varget out of my 6.5x47. My results were pretty much identical to Padom’s. Went from 36 grains up to 37.8 in .3 gr increments. Started getting flattened primers at 37.2 and sticky bolt at 37.5 and 37.8. Max velocity out of my 24 in bartlien was 2812, which...

100 yard practice work for ELR

I really prefer the .223 for training, it’s cheap to shoot, good barrel life, but still has the same feel of a larger caliber rifle. I’ve had a Ruger Precision Rifle in .223 for awhile and it’s been an excellent rifle for training. I’m currently selling since I got a custom .223 that is closer...

Signs that its time to anneal?

I anneal every firing. I use a bench source and use it inside with no issues but I usually only no more than 500 at one time which doesn’t take very long so if you were doing more than that at one time it may be an issue

Looking for the most accurate 18" 223 Wylde chambered barrel.

Seems odd they wouldn’t state you the supplier is, if it’s a known supplier that produces quality barrel it would be a selling point in my mind.

    Range Report New RDF bullets 22, 6.5, 7mm, 308

I bought two boxes of the 130’s for my 6.5x47 and was not impressed. I normally shot the 140 RDF and have had excellent results with them. I have a .167 freebore and to start with the 130’s loaded to the lands was actually longer than the 140’s length to lands. I had to jump them .070 to get...

Rear bag driving me nuts today with a semi auto

I have actually had good results using my game changer bag as a rear bag in both bolt actions and semi’s. It’s a bit heavy but the fill in it give a much solid and dense, it’s proved to work very well as a rear bag for me.

    130gr RDF Data?

I’m surprised you ran into pressure signs at 37.4 grains of varget. I run 37.3 grains of varget and the 140’s our of my 6.5x47 with no pressure signs at all. If I remember right I went up to 37.8 before I had a slight bit of sticky bolt. Thanks for testing these and posting your results, look...

    130gr RDF Data?

I’m surprised by the low velocity, I would have thought high 2800’s low 2900’s would have been fairly easy to achieve. Wonder how 8208 would do, they may be a bit heavy for it though.
