    Not entirely clear here... are you having issues with installing Mint on your actual computer (vs. booting from the 'live' USB image), or are you having issues running GRT on Linux?

    If you have a dry tumbler with some used media... throw them in there for a while (half hour to an hour). The dust will act as a sort of dry lube inside the case necks. Make sure to check the flash holes for stray media as per usual, and give that a try.

    ^this is likely the problem. Virgin Lapua brass tends to exhibit *extremely* high neck friction, all out of correlation with the apparent 'neck tension'.

    I'd be curious... if you ran a double blind test, where someone else hands you the rounds as you put them down range at distance... would you actually be able to shoot the difference? Not saying you can't, or that I could, but I'm always interested in how much some of the stuff actually matters.

    Steel. Most of mine predate the relative easy availability of carbide mandrels/pilots. The only carbide (K&M) ones I have are for reaming inside neck donuts.
