I have used imperial wax, Lyman and Dillion lube on a pad and they all work great. I find the wax a little more convenient because it's just easier to apply and it stays put! A little dab on ur finger is good enough for 5-7 cases and cleans up easy. I have never had a stuck case with any of...
I see that you have a rem 541 T listed...I have one also it just will not shoot no matter what I try. I've recrowned the barrel and bedded the actions with pillars and it still won't do much better then my ruger 10/22 take down! How is yours?

Scratch the hornady one shot lube and pick up some Imperial case lube and I'm willing to bet all your problems disappear as long as your set up is correct.

Best shooter I have is also a CZ452...excellent built quality and I think the only piece of plastic on the whole rifle is the magazine base.

What type of press are you using and did you set the die up per the instructions that came with it? I've never encountered a situation where the brass was expanded too much to size...start with giving us a little more information on your press and die set up and also the type of rifle it was...
Good choice...one of the main reasons most of us reload is for the purpose of improving the performance of the cartridge. Leaving out such an easy step is just lazy and pointless.

I agree it's an easy swap I have one with 223, 308 and 300 win mag case holder plus a Giraud annealer and both machines are a huge time saver! And on another note the WFT only sizes the case where the Giraud trimmer trim while it inside and outside chamfers the case all in the same time.

I must have done something wrong while using a magneto at my last outing it seems that my numbers were way low about 1,000 fps low, any ideas what could of caused that much error?

Curious what your starting velocities were with that load. I just finished a similar build and was getting that velocity with 43 grns of the same powder but with CCI benchrest primers... accuracy was excellent tho.

I can believe it like I said the chrono was borrowed and it's something I am familiar with so I wouldn't trust the numbers anyway. I was more interested in the groups then the numbers next time out I'll get some better readings hopefully

Velocity was just under 3,000 at 43 grns. These were recorded with a borrowed magneto chronograph and it was the first time using it so I wouldn't bet on those numbers. The barrel isn't even broken in yet so I imagine those loads would clock a hair higher once it is. I'm not sure on throat but I...
I have some expierence with the WFT and what I learned was the faster the motor used to spin it and the less pressure exerted onto the case the less of a bur that is left behind...that said it still left some no matter what I tried. I def think if you want any kind of concetricy to your loads...
Savage LRP action with a Bartlein barrel that I chambered with a PTG reamer that is bedded to a very nice Manners T5a stock with a CDI bottome metal. Nightforce 12-42 was used for testing
I believe the 6cm to be a more efficient chambering over the 243 in a couple ways. Brass life is big plus in the current market as is less powder capacity. I think barrel life will prove to be longer also. If your going to compete I think you would find the velocity to be at the legal upper...
