    Re: Eberlestock or Mystery Ranch ? I have a Mystery Ranch Dragon Slayer and it is my do all pack. It's even the perfect size for flying. For carrying out elk, I think the crew cab would probably work best. You can haul a lot in that thing.

    Re: Vortex Viper 4-12x40 Mine work just fine on my 17hm2. Punching paper I can see the holes at 200 yards. The only thing I don't like is the parallax only go's down to fifty yards. Turning it down to 4 power helps out a lot with that though.

    Re: Whats a good all purpose pack, not jus for rifles? Mysteryranch dragon slayer. I've used it as a range bag ever since I got it, a camelbak reservoir can be added. A laptop mite fit... Not sure? They also have a lighter duty version called snapdragon.
