    Defintely BTLE as of the 5700 . . . my old non BTLE tablet is deaf as a post to it. As I noted earlier, there are two bind functions intbe 5700 software - one for a LRF and the other for a HUD, so I doubt that anything is eavesdropping . . .

    No, by design. The 5700 has definite separate settings for binding a rangefinder and a HUD - it's designed specifically to do that. Using a 1 mile CONx and HUD here . . .

    Kestrel Link or Kestrel Ballistics app? Link is for weather, and has no awareness of the HUD, but the ballistics app does (if it is current). Bluetooth is bluetooth - if you can see your Kestrel, it's working, and phone age can't matter. *App* age, however, is critical!

    Replaced my SSA's with High Speeds, and never looked back (NO comparison whatsoever!). Depending on the spring set used, the High Speed is far more than just a competition trigger. I stand by my recommendation. Fully tunable, best break I have ever felt . . .

    AR Performance www.ar15performance.com They pretty much specialize in 6.8 barrels, are very accurate, and very reasonable. Then pick the upper of your choice. (Still pissed that Mega Arms sold out . . . )

    Eaasiest test, since it was running, is dump the case, add oil and test. Shutoff fuel valve between uses . . . See this in OPE fairly regularly . . .

    So drain it, fix the stuck float/bad needle that let gas pee into the case while stored, add fresh oil and try again . . . It may well be fine. This could well be a $5/10 minute fix!
