    Fuhq, congrats on the new Sandman! Hey, have you ever tried the E-Brake or the wiped endcap for your Nomad LT? I'm curious if either of those are really effective in lowering the sound signature even more...

    Thanks, brother. That IS helpful. It's interesting how the recoil lug abutment in the stock before bedding was kind of 'stepped'. I wonder why McRees didn't make it just a nice vertical flat?

    I'm trying to make my final decision between an XLR Element and a McRees G5 for my Savage, but I'd like to see what the 'innards' look like first. Anyone have pics of the inside of either chassis? I can't find anything really with a Google image search. Thanks.

    Are the 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5x47 Lapua cases similar enough that I could get just one case holder (and one cutter/blade assembly) and trim both cartridges (obviously adjusting case holder depth as needed)?

    I use one with the ADM mount. I like it and don't see the need to spend 3x the amount to get the EOTech or Aimpoint branded magnifiers.

    I was wondering the same thing. I have a Savage 12LRP in Creed that fouls something fierce. It shoots wonderfully, but after about 75 rounds, the fouling is so bad that precision goes to pot. I was thinking cleaning it to bare steel and then lead-lapping it like what is done to custom barrels...
