    Looks good! I still have mine... bought it years ago. Mine shoots great. Only thing i had done is LRI put a bolt Knob on it.

    I have a Bushnell LRTS 4.5-18 on a ar10 6.5creed...it maybe at the high-end of your price range. Vortex PST Gen 2 would be another good choice in your price range.

    Tripods??? Where to start???

    I went through a couple cheaper options, but was never happy with them so I finally just bit the bullet and went with RRD Tripod and their Anvil ballhead. If i was buying another tripod I would take a hard look at the PVA tripod, and see if it would fit the RRS ballheads or leveling base

    Spotter, angled or straight?

    Angled if I am shooting alone and want to set it up by me on the bench. Straight if I am spotting from a tripod for someone else.

    Rifle Scopes Sig vs Vortex vs Athlon

    I think the Sig and Razor are roughly equivalent, probably more personal preference than anything. I'm brand loyal to vortex for optics for their great support. Vortex may have better resell value in the future if you decide to sell it. I haven't personally handled the Athlon, so I can't comment.
