    I'd throw out the fact that heavier bullets generally get loaded with less powder, therefore slightly less gas/plasma gets produced, to burn out the throat, but I'm no physics expert. Chris

    Out of gas guns, if you get to 4, 5 or even 7 cycles, before losing them, or splitting necks, you're probably good to go. I guess the worse that would happen is that you get a case head separation and need a broken case extraction tool to make the weapon operable again. Chris
