Rifle Scopes Why isn’t Meopta Included among the Best?

34mm seems to become the standard for serious tactical scopes. That said, having useful reticles, sufficient elevation adjustments, repeatable adjustments and optical performance should dictate the tube diameter. There should be a valid reason to go with a 34mm tube beyond marketing.

    6.5x47 issues

First thought is the load is not in a harmonic barrel node, meaning the muzzle is in motion during bullet exit. The other thought is it's difficult to maintain a 0.002" jump as bullets will vary slightly in ogive. What is would try first is to increase the bullet jump to 0.020". If that...

    Shorty 6.5: Creed or x47?

If you want the possibility to shoot factory ammo then Creedmoor, if handload only then Lapua. That's pretty much what it comes down to.

    Dumb pistol reloading question

If these are the plated, I would have no hesitation in using those bullets. 9mm ~ 0.355/0.356" The 0.001" difference will make no difference.

Perfect head space and separating case heads

Factory ammo and brass are usually sized to the minimum or even slightly below minimum headspace, to insure it will chamber in every rifle. At it's been mentioned you need to get a cartridge headspace comparator to be able to measure your current headspace and how much you are pushing the...

    Seating Depth Into The Case

Are you going to mag feed or single load? That small amount would be OK single fed, but not for mag feeding.

Need advice: fastest powders for 308, for tactical precision rifle comps

I have had good results for both but found H4895 more temperature stable than IMR4895.

Need advice: fastest powders for 308, for tactical precision rifle comps

There's a lot of powders between 4895 and BLC-2. Since you're only shooting to 600M, highest velocity shouldn't be your primary concern. IMO you want a good load that is stable across various conditions. The go to powders (H4895, IMR4064, Varget) will get you there. Another 75-100fps isn't...

    Mausingfield M5 bolt opening issue

Since the "click" is occurring with or without firing, I would pull the firing pin assembly and see if it still occurs. If the click goes away then I would look at the cocking ramp for some defect. If it still occurs with the firing pin assembly removed, I would look at the lugs and breech cone.

    250 savage again

Very few high BC bullets is currently the limiting factor. Barrels will be made if the bullets exist to shoot them.

Rifle Scopes Why isn’t Meopta Included among the Best?

Optically Meopta might be on par with top-tier glass (I have an old steel tube Meopta) but feature-wise they are woefully behind the times. They may be fine for square range paper punching but for our game it's a NOGO. They could make some inroads with binos and spotting scopes.

6.5 Creedmoor 1:7 twist vs something else

Make up a dummy round with the bullet you want to shoot at the length you want. The gunsmith should be able to cut the freebore for it.

6.5 Creedmoor 1:7 twist vs something else

In a 6.5mm the 8-twist has been the default but a 7.5 or 7-twist will work just as well.

Too many variables, not enough details. BTW have you taken the sideplate off your S&W? Parts inside are not stainless.
