    You could always ship them. But if you're driving, I'd take em with me. Just don't leave them in the car overnight when you're at a motel.

    I've seen some shooters with the 3 dot night sights focus on the actual dots and not the sights themselves and sometimes you don't recognize that you're doing it. That may be one other option to explore. I think our eyes naturally gravitate towards the dots because they're much easier to see but...

    Rifle Scopes S&B.. NF.. where to put the money on first really high end glass???

    I love my S&B scopes, but there are other high quality scopes out there for less that'll perform equally or close to it. But you can't go wrong with the S&B. If you decide it's not your cup o' tea, you can sell it here quickly at minimum depreciation. I recommend a 5-25 with the H2CMR reticle.

    Are you planning on being a moving target? I don't think any plates short of actual AR500 will take near as many impacts as an AR500 target shoved info the carrier.

    To the OP, I'd say that's a good deal on an AW in 308. You'll be able to shoot thousands more rounds through it. When you shoot that barrel out or tire of the 308 caliber, you can rebarrel it in a different short action caliber, assuming you'll be doing a lot of shooting with it.

    Rifle Scopes Trijicon RMR LED or Aimpoint H1 for offset mounted on semi auto ....?

    I love my Micro T1 with the 2 MOA dot. It's not mounted offset, but that red dot works extremely well. The 50,000 hour battery life is excellent.
