    I don't have a 6 XC by GAP, but the two GAP rifles I've owned have been top notch. You'll be very happy with their work. It certainly won't be the last GAP you own. Welcome to the site and good luck on your wait. It'll be well worth it.

    I like the Gen 2 mildot and didn't see any reason to switch until I got an H2CMR reticle and love it. I can't do the chrimmus tree reticles, but hold overs with the H2CMR are very easy.

    With a good shooting position, it won't be necessary. But if you're building a rifle, you might as well have them install one or at the very least thread it while it's still there. It'll help with resale if you decide to switch platforms.

    If you're able to bring your rifle into a store, try to compare different ring heights with your scope to see what affords you the best cheek weld. Sometimes you have to sell one set of rings at a loss to get the right size.

    I don't think you will, but some people like the Horus software. I have the generic 4500 and it works well for me in conjunction with my Shooter app on my iPhone.

    I wouldn't call him kind or a gentleman, and certainly not both at once. There's no hurry, it's living atop an AW right now and the next home it'll go to will be your build, where it belongs.

    All I use my Asp expandable baton for at work is to retrieve my keys if they fall under my patrol car. Other than that, it's useless.

    They put on some good matches, if you haven't been, I recommend going. I prefer their tactical matches to the long range matches, but both are fun. And you get to stick around and shoot after the match.

    That might be your problem. I don't what the max length is, but if all of your mags are doing this, it might be time to roll a few rounds that are shorter and see how they perform.
