    Rifle Scopes AI .223 mag issues?

    I have tested 6 AI 223 mags in my rifle ,4 worked good and 2 had problems. I bought them all new so they were unaltered.

    I prefer the 26" varmint ,I picked up the 20" AAC-SD a while back and the short barrel just had too much snap to it and louder as well.

    Rifle Scopes My thoughts on the SWFA SS 12x42 vs 16x42.

    I have owned several SS scopes from 6X to 16X and the 12X is my favorite by far,really good glass and the turrets on mine are superb. I would pick the 6X and 10X side focus behind the 12 X ,i didnt care for the optics on the 16X models i have owned so i stayed away from the 20 X.

    I have the bushmaster varminter with 24" fluted heavy barrel ,1/9 twist and it shoots 40 grainers as well as 75 grainers.Excellent accuracy with it.

    Make sure the bolt handle doesnt touch the stock when closed,i have read that is an accuracy killer too.

    75 gr bthp in a 20" 1 in 9?

    My 700 tactical .223 shoots the PRVI 75 and Hornady BTHP 75 around 1"@200 yds with 24-24.5 varget 2.275 OAL. I have had no luck with Hornady 75Amax they must be too long for the 1/9 twist.
