    Re: Budget scope choice I'd stay away from the Crossfire. I've just read too many reports of issues, although Vortex will take care of you. Personally having had a Prostaff, and even a couple Monarchs, the Burris FFII has better glass, and it's what I'd go with in this price range.

    243win powder

    Re: 243win powder I shoot 40.3 grains of IMR 4831 with a Hornady 95 grain SST bullet. Shoots sub moa groups in my Savage. I love this load, but I haven't tried any other powders, just different charges of this one. It worked so well I just stuck with it.
