    Bolt questions with pics

    I agree with them ?. I think I would call customer service and get a replacement. Shouldnt have to fudge a new part to fit/operate correctly. I would hope they would understand if you sent them pics of it.

    I’m in the same boat. Can’t decide to stick with 7mag or change it up when I rebarrel. It’s a mostly factory Remington Sendero. I really like a 7 mag for hunting although it’s debatably overkill for what I hunt with it. It more accurate than me with Norma brass 168 Bergers and h1000.

    I like both. One or more of each is my vote! They both go bang and ring steel. Both can be very accurate. Yes a 308 is a bit more challenging in the wind but I like the challenge some days. The 6.5’s can get boring ha.

    This is good advise. At least to try and see if your rifle likes them. I think palmetto has them on sale right now for dirt cheap too!

    The one I still have is a 1/2 moa rifle with that load (44 varget 2.830) out to 700 yards which is as far as I’ve shot it. Factory barreled action 5r milspec sits in a bedded grayboe renegade. Most accurate factory rifle I’ve owned. Shoots about the same with 42 grain imr 4064

    + 1 for 175 Sierra MatchKing. I had the same problem in 2 different Remington factory chambers. Insanely long throat. Went back to feeding it 175 smk at 2.800-2.850 (doesn’t really matter in mine) and it went back to shooting great. In my experience with them they dont mind a jump at all...

    Rifle Scopes Solid hunting scope

    I’m running vortex vipers on all my hunting rigs with no complaints. Pst hs-t and an hs. Really like the bdc reticle on the hs model. Super fast holdover for hunting out to 600 yards and it doesn’t break the bank. I think they are around $500.

    Heavies in a 223...I like 75 grain for target shooting. Then step up to a heavier weight rifle 6.5 with a brake to buck the wind. It would have close to the recoil of a 223. I can watch hits or misses shooting steel at 600 with a heavy 6.5 creedmoor with a brake.

    Hornady. It’s cheaper and won’t last as long as Lapua anyway. It’s what I’m loading creedmoor with right now and accuracy is still excellent after 3 firings without annealing
